Oldest community group in Atlanta- truly a professional arts organization that takes the time to connect with the community and play beautiful music!
To hear ACSO fill a space that was new to us with music that was gorgeous, artfully chosen, and skillfully performed -- that was a treat!! It just happened at the December 2019 concert. Wow!
And it's not the first time!! Each concert we've gone to has brought so much wonderful music to us, and there's always something to hear that we either had never heard or had never heard of.
Rock on, ACSO! It's clear that these musicians are passionate about their music.
My husband and I have been followers of the Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra (ACSO) for over 30 years. We have never been disappointed with their varied repertoire of pieces, which are as beautifully performed as any we’ve heard, and we include the ASO (Atlanta Symphony Orchestra) in that comparison.

The ACSO has been a huge part of my life since I moved to Atlanta in 2002. I have enjoyed participating both as a musician and as a volunteer board member of the group. It has taught me a lot about the demands and responsibilities of running a nonprofit group. Most importantly though, it has given me a way to produce beautiful music and make great friends as well as give back to the community.
I love the ACSO and it's leadership. Very involved in the community and always working to nurture the love for music. I took my 9 year old daughter and her friend and my 82 year old mother visiting from Germany. They all love the music and atmosphere.
It has been our privilege to hear the fine Atlanta Community Symphony Orchestra on several occasions when we were traveling to Atlanta. Every concert has been thoroughly enjoyable, from the skillful programming to the beautiful sound of the ensemble to the elegant contributions of the individual soloists.
