The Coach/Owner of Ignite Hoops has taken her typical immorality to a recent new all-time low, even for her. During Summer 2025, she endorsed 4 freshmen from her Ignite roster to automatically get moved up to the local HS Varsity team at the expense of many other talented freshman & upperclassman. She endorsed her 4 favorite players to the Varsity coach during the Summer League/Camp w/out any sort of evaluation, even working w/ her favorite parent to ensure those 4 players moved up. This behavior has negatively impacted the morale of all players (Frosh & JV teams) that got zero consideration. Obviously her motivation for this behavior is to brag about 4 freshmen already playing on Varsity from her Ignite program, a pathetic underhanded way to promote her program. Don't be fooled by the 5-star Google reviews. Any program can put together a 5-star skills camp, but when an org stoops this low, it creates dissent w/in the community. Ignite is a very polarizing org awful for the community.

I have played for the warriors for over 5 years coach has always been there for me and the other players he cares about the players and not just about their game highly recommend

Great program! They help the youth in the community by donating sports equipment to kids in need they also have a nice training facility that offer educational programs for kids

My kids did not like it, The eldest child had a breakdown while trying to play and everyone screaming at her face, Those teammates that she was with did not say sorry. Youngest child once said: “I did not see familiar faces, there was lots of rich white kids trying to bother & bully me! and all of the lessons are boring, it’s just lessons and games. You can obviously learn those things at school!” Wouldn’t recommend to those parents who want to give their children basketball camps all summer, even though they want to do something else!<br><br>Do not force your kids to do this, let them have freedom. Never taking my children again.

Richie, his family and the coaching staff are the best!! They are all heart when it comes to not only teaching your children basketball but how to be a better person. To give so much of your time to a community that has always been underserviced, takes a huge commitment that the Catch family have always given even in the hard times. If you have the funds, please help out these wonderful souls. My daughter played since the 1st grade at the boys and girls club and now is a coach for a local school all because of mentors like this group.

Hi All, I just want to say I didn’t know what to expect when I first heard of this organization. Once I reached out via social media I was surprisingly contacted back quickly! My son began that following weekend! He has learned so much and still getting the knowledge of the game he needs! Coach Garry is amazing once he introduced himself he took notice of my son sports condition/ skills and began to make sure my son was attentive and eager to learn! He’s supportive and his willingness to make sure our youth is getting the skills and education they want and deserve! The other coach (I’m sorry for not knowing his name) he is great as well! SBNP gives our youth the confidence and sportsmanship skills they need that will help them continue their love for the game! I truly appreciate you all and I’m so thankful and happy my son has coaches that believe him at a young age!

I am excited to write a review about ALTA. I personally had the opportunity to watch ALTA interact with the community. I watched Alta teach young men the value of operating in integrity, having moral values & teaching them how to be successful in society.

I’ve watched my share of youth basketball games. This past weekend was the greatest youth basketball game I have ever seen. The University City Wildcats had only 5 players. The other team, Beyond Basketball, had 12 players. TheWildcats lost 30-28. What was suppose to be an easy win was turned out to be just the opposite. They showed heart and a never quit attitude. Way to go Wildcats!

This organization works well in so many facets...not just basketball. They truly have the best interest for every child in their program

Great Coach don’t cut players and love the children. Kids will develop and grow and enjoy themselves while having grounded discipline. He also pray with the team.

I HAVE WATCH COACH TEACH THESE KIDS AT ALL AGES. I HAVE ALSO CAME TO HER CLASS JUST TO SEE IT FOR MYSELF. THE LEGENDS IS A WONDERFUL PLACE TO KIDS OFF THE STREET AND DRUGS . COACH HICKS YOU ARE THE BEST.

Brenshirer Technical Institute is a traded school offering, authorized construction (10) hour OSHA class, authorized construction (30) hour OSHA course, training in HAZWOPER 40 (hazardous waste and emergency response operations. Training in CPR & First Aid with AED (Automated External Defibrillator). Certified by NCCER, and designed to teach individuals the basic general construction trades. As well as to training qualified individuals interested in becoming an Instructor. To teach the National Construction Center for Education and Research (NCCER) curricula. Our program offers so much more, such as drug treatment, counseling for case management, possibly job placement after successfully completing construction, and or industry training. We here at Brenshirer Technical Institute, educate everyone in our field of our expertise. But we like to focus our attention on the youth. Especially to stop gang violence, and gang participation. To broadening their job opportunities by giving the youth a career that they can be proud of. We here at Brenshirer Technical Institute feel the best way to do that. Is to give them the training and the skills of proficiency, that will create efficient, in their job preformance. Ace In The City does incredible work for the Powderhorn neighborhood in Minneapolis. They put people first and serve others in unique, tangible ways. I have seen Ace progress and improve with each passing year. Their outreach grows, but their mission to love and serve others remains. They ultimately want to show others the love of Christ, and I admire their commitment.

Exposure Sports, Inc is a Non-Profit Basketball program that serves to help all, but especially at-risk children, through the game of basketball. Our HEAT teams were created to build confidence in children 5-17, build character; promote and develop leadership, sportsmanship, fitness and athletic excellence; and showcase their skills by learning basketball fundamentals, all while providing a family atmosphere that encourages success in life and in the classroom. The HEAT program provides competitive team play, counseling, academic tracking and mentoring for all student athletes. Our HEAT basketball teams compete in the highest sanctioned basketball tournaments in the country, exposing our players to college recruiters, college campus and tours, and the opportunity to receive scholarships through basketball. Under the direction of Former Fresno State Bulldog Demetrius Porter we hope to continue to create opportunities for the family we have created. <br> <br>Our Current Achievements and Successes are unlike any other basketball programs in our area; we do not solely focus on winning basketball games, but measure our success on our ability to place student athletes in College on Scholarships. Within the program, our overall GPA was a 3.4. For the past 5 years we have placed 37 girls in Division I, II, and NAIA Universities on Basketball Scholarships at institutions such as the Fresno State, Louisville, University of Nevada, UNLV, San Jose State, Utah, New Mexico, Eastern Washington, Kentucky and more.

Great coaches that take their time with the boys teaching them disciplines rules and ways to play the game correctly and showing great sportsmanship keeping my sons off at the streets and busy

KLF does great work with the community. Their programs that help bolster education and literacy with the youth of the community is highly commendable. The yearly backpack drive has helped many children from various age groups and communities to have the necessary tools that they need to prioritize there education. As a whole, this organization does great work and is always a joy to participate in their events.

My son played in this league as a "little guy". The age ranges from 6 years old to 16. The experiences in team work, camaraderie, and having fun with kids his own age were invaluable. The league is co-ed, diverse and open to all. The main rule is that parents don't get "overly excited" during games. The overall goal of the league is to teach kids the game of basketball without undo pressure. I would highly recommend the league to all boys and girls interested in learning the game of basketball.<br><br>A former league coach

Even though the R3 Bumble Beez is a performing arts basketball team, the fundamentals of the game and the relationship with the other players was priceless to my 5-year old son. He didn't even know how to dribble a ball, much less a basket. I saw progress in a month and I saw my son's confidence increase with every practice.

Very wonderful program for youth and an outlet to life skills through athletics. At zero cost to low-income families through fundraising and donations.
