Mission: University City Wildcats offers the youth a safe and supportive environment to develop as an athlete while building lifelong skills. We strive to give every kid a fair opportunity to learn and grow as an athlete, building confidence and self-worth. We guide our youth in developing character, communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
I’ve watched my share of youth basketball games. This past weekend was the greatest youth basketball game I have ever seen. The University City Wildcats had only 5 players. The other team, Beyond Basketball, had 12 players. TheWildcats lost 30-28. What was suppose to be an easy win was turned out to be just the opposite. They showed heart and a never quit attitude. Way to go Wildcats!
Great group of kids. I didn’t know what I was getting into at first. This is turning out to be a experience like no other. The fact that the kids are so respectful and receptive to the things that they’re be taught is so amazing. They’re getting better and better. They’re also fun to be around. Thank you for allowing to be a part of something special!
The atmosphere is positive. There’s definitely a family vibe there. The coaches are great teachers. They’re also interactive with the parents. They allow you to come and sit down watch what they do. I love it!
