Great Coach don’t cut players and love the children. Kids will develop and grow and enjoy themselves while having grounded discipline. He also pray with the team.
Tacoma Shine Youth Athletics has taught my young man how to be more responsible.. My son has grown up without a father and it really affects him.. Diago became my sons Big. Brother/ Father figure. He has heloed my son see things in a Mans way.. A way that I could never show him. He really has stepped it up around the house and helps me out tremendously.. I really appreciate Diago and his organization.. We need more Man like him.. Yesss to Tacoma Shine Youth Athletics..
I just want to say Tacoma Shine has really helped me with my little guys. I am a single parent with 2 boys and was struggling with their behavior. Tacoma Shine summer mentor camp helped changed that.. They went on field trips and had good experiences they couldn't wait to tell me about.. They said they will work hard this year to get better grades and No trouble.. Soo far so good.. I even received a goox message home from teachers.. Thanks Tacoma Shine mentor camp.. You will have them again next summer. Lol.
I really appreciate Tacoma Shine and their staff.. We had come from another program that didn't seem to be going know where.. We played Tacoma Shine and lost.. They was our rival.. Lol. Now we are apart of the team and feel there is No place like home.. Thank you Coach Diago and Tacoma Shine players for accepting us.. We love it here.
I come from Tri-cites, Wa.. To Tacoma Wa. For my daughters skill development because Coach Diago Hunter and his staff are Amazing. Over the past 3 years they have helpes mold my daughters attitude and work ethic for education and sports. My daughter is in the 9th grade and she is on a mission to get a scholarship from UCONN and the rate the Tacoma Shine has her.. I believe she can.. I played 4 years for UCLA. So I believe I know it ..when I see it.. Not just cause she is my daughter.. I appreciate you Tacoma Shine.. You really make them Shine!
I have been Coaching and volunteering with Tacoma Shine for 8 months now.. And I love it... I have made great relationships with Coaches and have learned new coaching techniques.. We have a great group of kids and I can't wait to get to practice just to help them get better and achieve their goals..
Tacoma Shine and their Coaches are Amazing! They push my daughter in ways that has got her on her HS Varsity team as a Freshmen.. I am soo proud of her work ethic now and thankful for Tacoma Shine for pushing her..
I had the luxury of having my son train with Tacoma Shine.. My Son Dave... Is 15 years old he plays Football, Basketball and runs track.. He has been working out with T.S.Y.A. since March 2017.. He has been running and training on Owens beach with them. My son says everytime he runs the beach he can feel his self getting faster and stronger.. His speed has increased and he even can dunk now.. I am soo proud of my son staying committed to Tacoma Shine.. The process has created great results.. Thanks Coach Diago and Bumpy.. I took my daughter to Tacoma Shine Basketball with very little knowledge of basketball.. Coach Diago and his team of coaches changed that quickly.. They let me sit in practices and I not only watched my daughter turn into a great basketball player but gained alot of knowledge of the game.. Tacoma Shine is a great atmosphere to learn Basketball.. Thank you Coach Diago and Tacoma Shine.
I have 4 sons and they have played sports for Tacoma Shine.. They have all developed into great players training and playing with Tacoma Shine. I love their summer Mentor camp which has helped my son who had behavioral issues transform into a kid that has not been in trouble at school since he has been involved. His grade have gone up and he continues to speak of his goals.. I love Tacoma Shine Youth Athletics.. I wish I could do half of what they did for my family for them.. Blessed.

Tacoma Shine has helped my son gain his confidence through the summer mentor camp. He constantly talks about his counselors and how they influence him to do great things.. T.S.Y.A. has done great things in our community with the youth and has given my kid the confidence he needs to suceed. Thanks Tacoma Shine!!!
Tacoma shine is a great organization! Giving the youth a since of team and family, while teaching them team wrk accountability and commitment.
This is a great program for young people. They're about helping develop young adults to be functional adults. The coaches are cool and laid back and are willing to work with you and your child to help them on lock their full potential.
Tacoma Shine Youth Athletics is a wonderful organization. They teach hard work and a positive attitude. I am so glad to have found this organization for my daughter. Tacoma Shine has started a 1st & 2nd grade boys team. They had 4 young man coaching and training about 20 of our boys and they was fantastic! They worked the boys and gave them great direction.. My son had so much fun a broke a sweat.. Can't wait for the next practice.. They had so much fun! Go T.S.Y.A...
T.S.Y.A. has helped develop my daughter into a superstar guard. We brought her to T.S.Y.A. Coach/Trainer Diago Hunter and he transformed her into a Beast on and off the court. She avg. a 3.6 GPA and has recently took the ACT in Coach Diago's leg up program. I would recommend anyone who is serious about the game and wants their child to go to the next level contact Coach Diago Hunter and the T.S.Y.A. staff. They are undeniably the Best in town.
T.S.Y.A. has helped develop my child into a Superstar athlete. Shyanna never really played basketball and was not that good until she met Coach/trainer Diago D. Hunter and his staff. She started playing for Tacoma Shine when she was 6th grade. She started Varsity as a 9th grader and is a Jr. now avg. 18pts a game. She is also being looked at by 7 D-1 schools and 4 Pac-12 schools. I can't say enough about Tacoma Shine.. They have upgraded our family.. Thanks Coach!!!
