Review for Friends of the Earth, Washington, DC, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I have been donating to Friends of the Earth for 5 years because I feel they are an excellent environmental and wildlife advocacy nonprofit. I frequently see their organization quoted in news articles and mentioned in other earth conscious groups emails because they work in tandem to effectively lobby on many issues.

Review for Animal Defenders International US, Los Angeles, CA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I am so impressed with this nonprofit and highly encourage people to donate to their mission of rescuing captive wildlife so they can be relocated to sanctuaries or released in protected areas. The founders and their staff/volunteers are so dedicated to ending the use and suffering of wildlife in circuses that they have endured physical threats to their personal safety as they track down illegal circuses that refuse to relinquish their animals. This process can take months, and involves considerable effort, money and resources, but they are steadfast in their goal of seeing these animals achieve the freedom, comfort and security that all sentient creatures should experience. After the rescues, the work continues as they tend to the nutritional, medical and emotional wellbeing of all of the animals in their care. Special attention is paid to ensuring that siblings and bonded pairs stay together, furthering the enrichment of their retirement.

Thank you so much for your kind review and for your support.

Review for Center for Biological Diversity Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I'm retired and on a fixed income, so I choose the nonprofits I donate to very carefully. The Center for Biological Diversity is dogged in their pursuit of Endangered Species status for the unknown and overlooked plants and animals facing extinction, in addition to the well known and beloved species. Many legal battles take years and sometimes decades to achieve, but be assured they will never give up the good fight.

Review for International Snow Leopard Trust, Seattle, WA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I love Snow Leopard Trust because they work to educate the public and the communities that are connected to the snow leopard's habitat about the benefits of conserving and protecting all aspects of this majestic predators environment.

Review for Center for Biological Diversity Inc, Tucson, AZ, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I rely upon the Center for Biological Diversity to keep me updated on threats to wildlife and wild spaces, in addition to their progress with current legal battles against local, state and federal entities threatening laws in place that are meant to protect wildlife and their habitat. In this age of constant eroding of our natural resources, I feel confident and comforted that they will always fight to ensure the next generation can experience the wonders of this nation and not just read about them because they no longer exist.
