Review for Code of Support Foundation, Alexandria, VA, USA
This organization gave me support when no one else would due to my husband's invisible wounds. They provided brain scanning when the VA said there was no TBI ...there was...they helped me get a scholarship and connected me to a personal network of support through love.
Review for Wounded Warriors Family Support, Omaha, NE, USA
This organization is wonderful. It provided dental coverage for what the VAinsurance did not when my kids needed MAJOR medically necessary procedures. They also paid for my mother in law with a grant to help while my husband and I went on a seminar to help with his PTSD. I would have given 5 stars, but the restricting nature of it's Bahama Bay resort (not considering PTSD as a primary condition) is my only issue. If that we're to change, I would change it to a 5.
Review for Risen Savior Lutheran Church, Pooler, GA, USA
This school is amazing! My son is learning and memorizing wonderful bible verses. The presentation of lessons is doing him well. He loves his school and the staff are so kind and caring
Review for Gratitude America Inc, Fernandina Beach, FL, USA
My husband Scotty and I were just there for the Amelia Island Beach retreat. I can't say enough how much we learned from the team. Mike, Anne, Tracy, Dillan, Mike, Abbie, Ashley, George, Jack, & the interns...probably forgot several of the members but they were so helpful in a time that was needed in our life. Lewis and Jonie joined us on the River Cruise of historic Amelia Island and it was a delight. Every aspect of the retreat was planned wonderfully. We were able to connect with so many like minded veterans it made a lasting impact to lead to long friendships. We hope to be able to meet up with everyone again. THank you so much for supporting those who need it most.
Review for OPERATION WARD 57, Orting, WA, USA
This Christmas was going to be scarce. We had a major car repair and a plumbing leak all happen in a matter of 2 weeks in November, it cleared out our Christmas savings for our family.
Then a fellow COWW shared the OHward57 link. We were choosen to be adopted by a generous donor. My kids will have presents to open Christmas morning. The donor was kind in keeping up via email and is even generous enough to wrap everything for us. I can't say thank you enough.
