Very caring, but also show great awareness of issues happening to animals and trying to put a stop to abuse. Their efforts are great, like the mobile bilboard, and really seem to get attention and results! A great organization!

Grey2K's never ending work to put a stop to the disgusting "sport" of dog racing in the US and over the world has made such a huge impact!!! Their work is so, so important and they have made such great progress, on all fronts: 1. educating people of how horrifying dog racing really is and the sweet and gentle nature or greyhounds; 2. promoting adoption and 3. changing laws to stop legal dog racing.
Grey2K brought an initiative to the state of Florida, to be voted on in a general election and thus put an end to dog racing in that whole state, which had the most dog tracks of any US state! That work really speaks for itself!
People don't realize that Greyhounds, as a breed, are such sweet, gentle and sensitive dogs. The public in general is also unaware of the horrifying treatment of racing dogs. They just think "oh, they love to run", and that ignorance has been exploited for so many years. That's why the education and raising awareness aspects of Grey2K is so important and it shows in their progress over the whole world! Keep up the great work!!! Grey2K is OUTSTANDING!!!

The "fight" to help these sweet and gentle dogs is not just on the front lines (at the tracks and legislation), but also in educating the public. It is imperative that people be informed of the horrifying things that really go on with these breeders, trainers and kennel owners, not to mention what happens to these innocent dogs leading up to and during their races. Breeders and some casino owners are trying desperately to keep this all covered up. Educating the public as to the bad things these dogs go through is SO important, but also "meet & greets" with the dogs and explaining what great pets they make. The two biggest misconceptions are that 1. the dogs are high strung with a lot of nervous energy; and 2. they must have an owner who will run everyday with them... both are just not true. Not even close! And Grey2K is getting the word out, which, in my opinion, is invaluable.

The work Grey2K does for these beautiful, gentle and innocent dogs, not just in the US, but worldwide, is unparalleled. It is abhorrent what people do to these dogs for the sake of entertainment and Grey2K has done so, so much good in reversing what horrible people continue to do to them.
I can never thank them enough for their tireless fight for these sweet dogs!
