Review for GREY2K USA Worldwide, Arlington, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

I've been involved with GREY2KUSA Worldwide for over 18 years, first as a member of the public, then as a board member, and now as an officer. Everything we do is guided by the idea, "What is best for the dogs?" Our policies and programs all follow from that simple premise. I receive no compensation, just the satisfaction of working with an incredibly dedicated, honest, and determined group to end the cruelty of commercial dog racing.

Review for GREY2K USA Education Fund, Arlington, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The GREY2KUSA Education Fund does great work to promote knowledge and appreciation of the greyhound breed. They turn the vast majority of their income right around and into programs with direct impacts on the greyhounds. While the GREY2KUSA Education Fund doesn't adopt greyhounds, they do support and promote the adoption efforts of other groups. Their funding of investigations has revealed disturbing behaviors by the industry that otherwise would have gone unknown, hidden from public scrutiny. The "Greyhounds in the Classroom" program promotes literacy, animal welfare, and respect for animals in a lively and engaging way that kids love.

Review for GREY2K USA Education Fund, Arlington, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

The GREY2K USA Education Fund has done so much to promote greyhounds as pets, from adoption to supplying materials for classroom presentations, and even supporting literacy programs. The Ed Fund provides books about adopted greyhounds to help young students learn about greyhounds and taking care of pets. Their humane education work includes a number of items like wristbands and buttons. Kids get to take home a memento of their classroom experience. The feedback from students is wonderful. The kids write about how they've committed themselves to being good stewards of animals. It's really heart-warming to see. Great job, Ed Fund.

I am the Vice-President of the Ed Fund's sister organization, GREY2K USA Worldwide. I am not involved in the governance, but I am a donor and supporter of the Education Fund.

Review for GREY2K USA Worldwide, Arlington, MA, USA

Rating: 5 stars

Laws are changing, stadiums are closing, fewer dogs are being bred, less money is being wagered, and the inherent cruelty of the greyhound racing industry is being exposed. GREY2K USA Worldwide continues to push for the elimination of commercial greyhound racing. It's no surprise that a small but vocal minority of people intimately involved in the industry try to cast aspersions, but their claims are baseless and completely exposed with even a modicum of research. GREY2K USA Worldwide has earned top status from Great Nonprofits because of their transparency and thoroughness. You will certainly not see anything of the sort from the industry.

Eric, you are so right. Greyhound racing is cruel and inhumane and the world is realizing that greyhounds deserve better than to be treated like trash, used and then disposed of, once their speed declines. Together, we can end this terrible situation around the globe! Christine Dorchak, Esq. President, GREY2K USA Worldwide
