They find the abused and tortured animals and are reliant on donations. Why is government so lax is creating a solid healthy planet starting with the basics. Lady Freethinker is doing what they should also be doing. I have nightmares nightly with the plight of some animals and yet the humans, despite the messages out there, continue behaving in the most morally reprehensible way. I don't know how we would fare without independent Lady Freethinker. The situation is critical.

There are reams of humans on earth who need help, but often animals are forgotten over this, since they don't have a voice and can't even cry for help. No matter what species, everywhere on earth defenceless animals are tremendously abused and tortured by humans, suffering in silence and despairingly waiting for someone who ends their excruciating agony, a living hell on earth they cannot escape.
Ladyfreethinker belongs to the extremely courageous and warm-hearted people who has dedicated her entire life to actively and firmly fight for the safety and freedom for these direfully pitiable, gentle sentient beings, who so desperately need help. The story behind each petition is deeply heartbreaking, cases of animals which can still be saved or subsequently accorded justice for the inconceivable ordeal they were forced to endure.
Every day her work makes the difference for those she and her team save from hellish, living nightmares and many animals are free of fear and pain for the first time of their lives, building up confidence and even finding happyness and love with affectionate humans and animal companions.
Her engagement encourages me never to capitulate and reminds me that I'm not alone in fighting against animal abuse. I would be overhappy if more people learned about her work, thus getting the possibility to take part in her engagement. I am a Critical Animal Studies student, trying in my own way to disturb and change the way many people (and of course organisations and companies) think about and act toward our non-human brothers and sisters. Reading the horrible cases of animal cruelty highlighted by LFT is a vital, but painful part of my research. I am unable for a number of reasons to help in a practical way, but it gladdens my heart to hear of and see the fantastic efforts of the LFT team and other brave individuals and groups who are working for a better world for animals. Lady Freethinker deserves praise for all the efforts they are making with their initiatives; their petition gathering, their investigative work and tireless publicising of what is so wrong, and how we can put it right, plays an very important part in advocating for those beings who cannot speak for themselves.
This nonprofit is outstanding, the organization keeps me up to date in terms of animal abuse, need for stronger regulations, and positive news/victories for animals. I recieve the daily info from lady freethinker. While there are good news stories there are also stories that are difficult to read in relation to human treating animals badly. I share these stories with my friends. In the Bible humans are charged with stewardship over the earth NOT DOMINATION. This ngo brings the message home and I pray for the day when all humanity are stewards of the earth, loving and caring for all life.
I've been an Animal Rights activist for 40+ years with PETA. Lady Freethinker shares the same passion and concern for animals' rights and lives. I am very honored to also be a activist for her.

I feel strongly about giving my support for a few charities & particularly this one which is regularly on the look out to flag up the most needy cases. Lady Freethinker enables me and others to speak out for those unable to speak for themselves and is a strong platform from which we can all join together to give our support where it is needed, there is far more strength in numbers. In 2017 I adopted my Romanian rescue dog and seeing him improve day by day in the right environment, has spurred me on to help where I can. I genuinely believe that there should be an animal care education package in schools, as this is not always taught in the home. One day if we all work together, I sincerely hope abuse and neglect will be in the dark and distant past.
LFT is one of the best Non Profits /Charity out there. They work hard to create real change for all animals. They create and send petitions to stop animal abuse, gathering signatures and sending them to the appropriate authorities. On the ground rescues and investigating animal abuse are additional ways they help create a better life for animals. Glad we have LFT to help educate people and bring awareness to help end animals from suffering.

I have signed many, many petitions on the LFT site. I believe that they do not sugarcoat animal abuse cases nor do they portray gratuitos violence for the sake of shock value. Many of these animal abuse/neglect cases go unknown and are never even tried even though they are taking place here in our own neighborhoods. Without Lady Freethinker, these evil humans would continue to get away with the horrific things they do. Many of us are unable to donate to charities often as we might like to but I know that personally, by being able to sign petitions for the safety, to give these animal victims a voice, and to bring charges against the people who so viciously attacked the innocent animals and pets who trusted them, to trial. I've been working with a small rescue called Hemlock Edge Rescue out of Pennsylvania for 8 yrs. We work in transporting dogs from the streets and shelters of the impoverished south, bringing them to our foster homes up north, until they are safe I'm their forever homes. Our rescue was founded by the tenacious Cris Tornetta when she was in her mid twenties, and although we are always in need of additional resources, she has worked tirelessly to save these animals by giving her whole life to them, and making sacrifices most would never dream of making.

I support most of the causes from this organisation and like to add my name, especially for animals who have no voice.
I have been following LFT for several years now and really applaud the work they do. Their work trying to stop the dog (and cat) meat trade is wonderful but they also highlight other smaller animal welfare issues that should be brought to the public's attention.
Their uplifting stories are also a welcome break from the cruelty and hate that happens so often.
I will continue to support them financially and in any way I can going forward.

I do look forward to the uplifting ones that celebrate victories and follow up stories. Their work stopping the dog and cat meat trade I find particularly important and I am happy to donate to this cause.

Lady Freethinker is a fantastic chariry, providing on the ground assistance for cats and dogs in urgent need of rescue and support. They have been involved in the rescue and rehoming of dogs that were destined for live markets. They show compassion and commitment towards animals that are unable to fend for themselves, and I am very grateful for all that they do.
I’ve found all the cases that they have brought to our attention have been extremely important to the protection of those animals and future animals that will hopefully set a precedent. I’m a believer that they will make a difference.

I don't have a personal story but Lady Freethinker showed up in my email at a time where I was wanting to help all animals from abuse or anything they may need. I didn't know how to start my own thing so when this nonprofit popped up I realized that they thought just like I did and helped these sweet animals like I wanted to do so desperately . I appreciate them so much and I'm honored to be supporting their work.
I think they are a relatively new nonprofit, but they always seem to be at the forefront of fighting for justice for animals so cruelly treated by humans. They are actively, and successfully, closing down the dog meat farms in Southeast Asia. They fight for the rights of the abused.

I am a person who loves animals and over many years have saved dogs, cats, horses, sheep, even birds if I've found one injured. These animals have become part of my family and in return have given me so much love and enjoyment. My concern was I felt I was only one person who could only save a few animals, when I knew there were so many other animals out there in need of rescue. Then I came across Lady Freethinker and I so admire Nina and the wonderful work she is doing world wide. I am now a supporter and feel by doing that, I too can help a much wider number of animals in need. I would love to think we could create a world where all animals are free from suffering. That is something I may never see in my lifetime, however by supporting Lady Freethinker there will be less and less animals suffering and you can be helping in this process. I believe Lady Freethinker is a reputable, honest charity that is doing a great job helping animals in the US and around the world -- particularly victims of South Korea's and Mali's horrific dog meat trade.
LFT is diligent with bringing justice to abuses animals, and in creating new animal rights laws. They also bring awareness and education to areas in Asia where the dog/cat meat markets are to help end the meat trade. I have followed LFT for several years, signed every petition and read their articles. LFT achieves results, exposing animal cruelty activities and shutting down animal abuse businesses. Animals are irreplaceable in both the ecosystem and as human companions. It is our role not to exploit and abuse animals, but to nurture their well being and prevent all harm done to them from happening. Without people like LFT crimes against animals would flourish beyond control, affecting not only the lives of animals, but people as a consequence. The HSUS and Lady Freethinker are the animal charities I donate to. I've researched many and these are the two I feel comfortable donating too. Also, caged bile bears in Asia (death would be a welcome relief for them.) I've seen the work Lady Freethinker does and I'm impressed enough to trust and help them.

Lady FreeThinker sends out bulletins reporting animal abusers. Terrible criminals who torture innocent animals get named and shamed. We are sent petitions to sign and share to get the word out and to hold police departments, judges and mayors and governors accountable regarding where the abuse happens so laws can be changed and perpetrators of ghastly disgusting actions can be put away!

It has opened my eyes to how prevalent it is in America both north and south. It made me realize you just can't sit back and do nothing. Animals have always been important to me but now I realize just how important. I see some of the pictures and I cry. You can see if they can do those things to innocent animals, it's not a big step to human torture or abuse. It's a very important crime that must be stopped and punished!!
Many times I find that Lady Freethinker addresses the one-of-a-kind incidents that otherwise the public would never be aware of - all over the world! Of course this is also a wonderful source of information for countless significantly larger cases that impact many people and or animals in negative ways. This is a great way to let the "perpetrators" (or abusers or responsible leaders of countries, D.A's, local and distant authorities), know that whatever they decide to do, or choose not to do, their resulting actions will be scrutinized by the public and not conveniently covered up or forgotten. The information LF includes is complete, concise and super easy to respond to. I'm glad they provide a place to state my own comments/concerns. It's also very easy to forward their notices to others for even more signatures. It's one of the few places where I can address issues that are taking place in the U.S., Korea, Spain, Turkey, the UK, etc.; basically anywhere there are inappropriate, cruel, abusive, unfair happenings that SHOULD be noticed and uncovered to the rest of the world. I'm not aware of any better, more efficient way to have these incidents publicly viewed, leading to investigations, responsibility and accountability. I LOVE Lady Freethinker and hope it always continues to be an option for myself and so many others who really care about humanity, all the animals and other critters we share this planet with, and the planet itself. LFT has shared their oversight of existing global inhumane situations, abusive events and occurrences, and given so many of us the ability to do what we can to bring an end to senseless cruelty; situations otherwise unknown to us. Ladyfreethinker highlights cases that would go unnoticed by the vast majority of the public. We’re used to hearing about high profile tragedies featuring megafauna and endangered species, but there are lesser known horrors being perpetrated every day that must be addressed and corrected. Ladyfreethinker helps me to realize that these horrors are being addressed and that I am part of their solutions.

I have signed many urgent petitions for animal welfare that were far more current than on any other site I visit that were sent to law enforcement, company leaders, and other decision-makers. They aid on-the-ground rescue of dogs, cats, farmed animals, caged at risk of dying animals at the worst zoos in the world and more. They have done undercover investigations of abused and neglected animals around the world and notified the proper authorities so they can intervene in a timely manor with historic results. They have strong convictions about the dog meat industry and the urgency of shutting it down where ever it occurs, in any country!

combat these terrible acts on animals via petitions and contributions that both, we all hope, leads to halting them. Your readers, I am convinced, all want the people who commit these acts to be punished by law and the courts to impose the harshest penalties. I have written to my state legislators to introduce even stricter laws and hope it leads others to do likewise.

Lady Freethinker brings to light the very sad but true plight of so many different animal causes from hunting and poaching endangered species, exposing the evil and barbaric cat/dog meat trade and of course the daily unthinkable animal abuse that goes on right here in our country. Their stories are so hard to read but burying our heads in the sand and not wanting to hear these horrific stories only serves to perpetuate these nightmares. Lady Freethinker does a lot of good work with individual groups in so many different ways from lobbying lawmakers and law enforcement officials to supplying food and medicine to shelters that rescue cats/dogs from the meat trade. The list is endless and although you can't support every charity that comes along most of these requests are for nothing more than a signature on a petition to encourage law makers to do the right thing. Two minutes of your time and a simple click can help save animals and a few dollars when you can to one particular campaign or another is money well spent. Just skip one Starbucks coffee and send that money to one of LF's causes it will make you feel better than the coffee would have:)

Ever since I got a dog I have become obsessed with all animals. I recently became a monthly donor because they are dedicated to ending the dog meat trade. I hate all animal abuse but this issue takes it to a whole new level. I believe LF is truly committed to ending this particular practice and I hope it ends in my lifetime.
They do so much good for animals! Drawing attention to cruelty and stopping it through petitions and raising awareness, both in the private and public sectors. I whole heartily support their efforts!

I get e-mail notices from LadyFreeThinker regarding animal cruelty cases. I always sign them all because I hate any form of animal torture or suffering or abandonment. I feel if many people sign these important petitions, then perhaps our laws will change to advance animal causes. Hopefully we will get Officials elected into Office that will have compassion and empathy for our helpless innocent animals and will work to change and toughen the laws for animal welfare benefit.
All over the world animals are neglected, abused, killed, injured.........when this site shows some awful pictures, some awful headlines, bear in mind these could often be taken in our neighbourhood, on our doorstep, in our houses. Animals deserve so much better. PLEASE help.

If only decision makers were aware of the everyday and endemic abuse of animals taking place under our noses we wouldn’t need nonprofits like this. And that is the point of this one. Abuse is happening in private homes, at the hands of kids and adults, in our entertainment activities and most importantly on social media but no one addresses that. am constantly amazed at the reach this wonderful rescue has. from the smallest of animals to some of the largest, LFT always goes the extra mile. This wonderful lady, Nina Jackel, works tirelessly and selflesslyfor all animals throughout the world. She speaks for those who do not have a voice. I sought her help over a terrible injustice that I had discovered was in danger of taking place and she immediately listened and acted. Lady freethinker has made real significant change and brings attention to some of the worst abuse cases I’ve ever heard! The voiceless have a voice with lady freethinker. As disturbing as these stories are, change is what matters! Putting these derelicts who harm the innocent behind bars is what matters and I firmly believe lady freethinker is instrumental in playing a HUGE part!!
The features are heartbreaking but necessary to get the public to realize that animals are being abused, slaughtered, and mistreated all around the world. This is wrong, these animals have done nothing to deserve such cruelty. They are innocent, we need to be their voice to bring about justice, knowledge, and hope.

I am a proud owner of a Blue Nose Pit who is the love of my life. Animals have given me so much joy and an abundance of love. I have wanted to help non-profit organizations. I am not able to donate money, but I can sign petitions. There is no reason for domesticated animals to be treated inhumanly, or for animals to be profit and not taken care of, or for animals that give life to us for their meat to not have the best life possible. All cows, chicken, pigs.... deserve a happy life. It is not right the way some humans treat animals, and CHANGE needs to happen for all animals. I am grateful for what Lady Freethinker has contributed world wide, and for the changes that have occurred due to the organization. Lady Freethinker educates people, helps people to make changes, the organization does not just demand change without giving assistance. In one of their stories there was a couple who owned a store overseas, and the couple sold dog meat. The volunteers with help from Lady Freethinker helped the couple to bring in other revenue, and to stop selling dog meat. The organization is not just about stopping people who commit cruelty to animals, but shows people how to make positive changes. I will never stop signing the petition's and recommending the site to others!

I've just gotten acquainted with this organization this year. They point out atrocities committed on animals by individuals, organizations, commercial companies, etc. This is a very sad world for helpless animals both wild and domestic. They provide petitions to go directly to organizations committing these horrible acts, to people in political power, etc. I wish I could do more to further their goals. I think they are a wonderful non-profit. Also, they don't bombard you with emails as do some other organizations. I'm fighting animal cruelty and banning the dog and cat meat trade in Asia and beyond.
I believe that dogs shouldn't suffer and die for the trade-in of their meat. I support an end to the dog meat trade throughout Asia and urge the governments of all countries where the trade in dog meat exists to work diligently and quickly towards eradicating this cruel and unnecessary practice.

This website sends email action alerts for various incidents of animal cruelty. All that we can really do is sign and online petition and add a comment. The information appears to be mostly accurate as the links go to mostly reputable sources such as news websites and real organizations. Signing petitions is not much, but it is empowering enough when wanton incidents happen half of a world away.
LFT PUTS out petitions both locally in the USA and Internationally all over the world. It is a global charity that cares for all animals near and far and allows us to help these animals in small ways that together makes a huge impact for justice and hopefully an end to all the cruelty animals endure
