I appreciate getting petitions to sign regarding the abuse of animals. They have no voice of their own and it is up to us to protect them. Animal abuse has been linked to the abuse of humans as well. Punishment needs to be strong, fines high and mental health evaluations are paramount.

I appreciate this organization for making others aware of the cruelty that animals are subjected to on a continuing basis. And trying to make the people that cause these unspeakable acts accountable.

I did not know such horrific acts were being done to animals by us!!!!!! The message and amazing work that is done has made more and more people aware and support Such vital help for poor defensive animals .
We can’t turn a blind eye when these acts are made aware to us we have to all make a stand and stop it!!!!!

LFT publishes stories on horrific situations about animals that I would otherwise not know about and allows me to add my voice through their petitions. I had know idea there was so much cruelty happening- we cannot turn a blind eye to this abuse. This lady works incredibly hard to try to improve the quality of life and stand up for the rights of defenceless animals. These poor creatures are abused and tortured in many cases, and bringing the abusers to justice is so important in every way. Animal abuse in any form cannot be tolerated or accepted. It is wrong.

I have found LFT to be an extremely active organisation with far reaching, world-wide support. Their intelligence ability never ceases to impress me as they report on cruelty cases from around the globe. They also don't pull any punches and so awful are some of the cases on which they report that I have on occasion found it near impossible to look at the photographs. Reading the text is bad enough! I am pleased to support them financially and voluntarily send them a small sum each month.

Seem to find the most needy causes to look after. Seem to understand the necessity of informing the public of the atrocities that are present in our world and find a way to care for the innocent. Seem to design protections for the future.

I have been captivated by some of the videos you have sent - often they are rather hard to watch - but they all carry an important message and usually a good result. Without hard hitting reporting of the cruel and barbaric treatment animals receive in this world we would be uninformed and unaware of the sacrifices these volunteers make and the difference your reporting makes in helping these defenceless animals. Please keep it up and I will keep supporting you - they need all the help they can get.

Have signed many petitions, but have not always got the news if the petitions I've signed helped, but that can also be my fault, so...

I found Lady Freethinker by accident and I'm glad I did. I now look forward to receiving their emails with new posts. Although many of the stories are quite heartbreaking detailing horrific abuse of animals, they also post many uplifting and informative articles.
It is great to read about successful rescue stories and also the latest environmental news.
I have donated to their work several times, particularly their work relating to the Yulin Dog Meat Festival and they do rescue and shelter dogs and cats in China, a most important initiative. I feel all in all they do a terrific job both reporting and actioning causes I care about.

As a believer in animal rights I support this non-profit for their help in local animal cases to see to it that people who commit crimes against animals are actually punished.

This can help us sensitize people that indeed animals are protected and have every right on a healthy life.

I worked together on a case for a cat here in Belgium who got burned in an oven. A cruel event. The way Lady Freethinker handled it was very professional. And although we live on the other side of the world Nina answered us very fast and the post for a petition was up in no time!

Great results. Would love to know how you are getting to those that are on the ground in China that are rescuing and pushing for change. But definitely A very very good service. Love the name. Maybe its not third world but the cruelty here in NZ shown to animals designated as pests ( the list is getting longer ) which is part of this countries Predator Free Campaign as well as those exploited in intensive farming keeps animal welfare in my mind. I discovered Lady FreeThinker a couple of years ago and I signed up to receive news from the site and be informed about their petition and campaigns. Their petitions focus both on “bigger” themes and campaigns (I’m thinking of the dog meat trade for example) and on “smaller” isolated cases which otherwise would have difficulty reaching a wide audience and would likely remain unknown and forgotten. So by supporting LFT work and petitions you really get the feeling your helping all animals, you have a chance to help animals in distress and bring justice to mistreated ones. Great nonprofit organization!

Lady Free Thinker is a truly noble not-for-profit organisation whose has taken commitment to animal welfare to a new level. In these troubling times, I am constantly amazed at how this band of devotees are able to expose the worst-of-the-worst of our species' cruelty to non-human animals with at times brutally graphic and honest reportage. This not only demonstrates LFT's passion for the voiceless beings they care about so deeply to immerse themselves in the depths of depravity to which they are exposed by our species, but in the process, shock otherwise naive, ignorant, or otherwise indifferent people into awareness of the presence of such cruelty, and ways they can make a difference to exposing it or eliminating it. LFT does this not only by love-in-action through circulating petitions calling for effective justice in the apprehension and punishment of the perpetrators of cruelty to animals, but also raising funds to enable their team to work on the ground to rescue, treat, and nurture animals who they are in a position to save.

I notice with Lady Freethinker that they are very effective about getting news out about abused animals needing help or justice for them when its too late to help that individual animal. I would hope that their well written petitions make a difference in saving animals lives.

I'm contacted by lots of Animal Rescue and Welfare groups who I believe find me through my support for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona which is my local chapter.
I do also support many other Worldwide & National animal protection & rescue organizations including the HSUS, ASPCA & WWF to list just a few.
All have different causes and request donations, signatures and other means of petition support.
Lady freethinker is the one that goes after the more hardcore situations & causes, getting positive results quickly where others seem to get bogged down with red tape.
I'm not quite sure why that is but I do encourage you to add them to your list of things you support.
The results speak for themselves.

Until I joined Lady Freethinker I was very unaware of the horror that goes on with so many poor animals. People can be such a POS for being so mean to these cats, dogs and other animals.

Lady-freethinker has pertinent stories that you can take action on to help animals. There are also lovely videos and stories that make you feel good, especially in regards to animals. I enjoy receiving e-mails from this site every day and donate for the very worthy causes when I am able.

LFT is great. I honestly can't remember how I came across LFT but I have no regrets. It's a great non profit organisation dedicated to helping animals all over the world by collecting petitions and donations (although not compulsory).

And when signing a petition to support whatever it is, be it getting justice done for a poor animal being abused or trying to stop the dog and cat meat trade in China, all you gotta do is take 1-2 minutes of your time by going to the webpage in the email sent and click sign as your particulars are automatically filled up for you after 1 or 2 times of signing a petition. And it's free. Therefore I honestly do recommend LFT. Thank you for your good work.

This organization does a wonderful job sharing news and videos to expose animal cruelty and abuse and also collecting millions of petition signatures to fight animal cruelty and abuse.

I know that many people like that some sites show videos. I don’t want to see the videos because I have a hard enough time understanding why people are so evil. I appreciate that this one doesn’t expose us to the pure evil but gives enough detail in the storyline.

I am a huge animal advocate. About a year ago I became aware of this non profit vie emails. What I like best is the simplicity of their email communication, the consistency in types of messaging, how they raise awareness through petitions and shared links and finally the opportunity to make a donation. I give Ladyfreeinker kudos for her dedication to the cause. I would go as far as saying that is it were possible I would love to work for this charity in some dynamic.

This organization does a great job of making people like myself aware of animal cruelty cases and starting petitions to encourage the authorities to prosecute these cases. Animal cruelty is an offense that has been neglected by our legal and enforcement system for far too long. And the research is becoming more clear over time that those who would perpetrate such offenses against defenseless animals will eventually do the same to people. I appreciate being aware of LFT because of my concern for animals. I enjoy being able to sign petitions for them and supporting them as much as I can. Getting the knowledge they have and learn about is extremely important. I hope that as they grow, they will be able to help people support healthy and responsible animal treatment using billboards, holding governments responsible and supporting animals who need healthy conditions!

I see their emails daily -honestly, when I see them, I'm heartbroken because they're reporting on yet more inhumane human interaction with animals. BUT, the positive is that it's brought to light, and I always sign the petitions they send out -even if they are hard to read or look at. Lady Freethinker is necessary, as difficult as it is to read the email headlines or face the brutal pics that are sometimes enclosed, they remind us that humanity is not always humane in our treatment of animals. I applaud them, and once I get my work situation straightened out, I will support them financially as well. Excellent work that must be extraordinarily difficult to do.

I have never donated to them but from what I can tell from the petitions I sign on behalf of the animals they represent and/or the people who hurt, maim or otherwise neglect these and other animals, Lady Freethinker goes after them with a vengeance I don't see very often except from maybe PETA, which is a much larger organization and has been around for a very long time. I feel Lady Freethinker is a current and innovative helper to aid animals in need.

Fighting against the torture and dog meat trade to make this horrendous and barbaric practice go away is only one of the many causes that LF addresses and informs all of us to sign petitions and act in best interest of all animals.

Many of the posts brought to my attention tell of unimaginable animal abuse, and I almost don't want to read them, and yet I know that I must read them so that I will know what is going on and support those who will are actively working toward ending this suffering. I get emails from Lady Freethinker about causes they are backing. I am more than happy to sign their petitions. They do not skirt about the issues, which I like. Horrible things happen unnecessarily to innocent animals every day. Not enough people realise this or choose to be blinkered to it. I love the way that Lady Freethinker demands justice for the innocents and quite rightly so. They are no nonsense. I am never pressured to donate and am always happy to sign. I am appreciative of the follow up emails telling me of their successes.

Lady Freethinker highlights animal abuse cases that otherwise would be missed or overlooked by other animal welfare groups. They shine the spotlight on small cases that are just as important and deserving as larger sensationalistic stories. They serve a much needed area of animal abuse awareness in their attempt to affect change and usher in justice for all animals.

Every day they notify us of horrendous crimes against animals and let us know how we can help, whether it's by donating money, signing a petition to get an animal abuser prosecuted, or some other way to help animals, There is such a need for them and the work they do. I wish there wasn't.

They provide pertinent information and make their petitions easy to sign.

These petitions are well written and cover urgent and important issues of interest to those who care about the treatment of and conditions for animals - some of whom are in danger, abused, threatened, mistreated and at risk of being killed.

However, a recent appeal from this organization asked for donations.
"......can we count on your gift today?" In this case it indicated:
"With your support, Lady Freethinker (LFT) can continue to aid local rescuers to save defenseless dogs from the dog meat trade and from the harsh streets of China"

When asked: "What percentage of donations will go to help these dogs?" I received no response. Most petitions ask for signatures, NOT for contributions...at least not without some specifics or benefit. There have been more frequent requests for donations without a target for the donations, raising questions about this 501c3. In fact, there is no way to know if these petitions ever reach their target, if they have accomplished what they set out to do, if there are any "victories" as a result of gathering these signatures. Failure to communicate this information raises suspicions about the validity of this non-profit.

Lady Freethinker brings awareness to animals who are being or have been abused with petitions to help save them, or bring justice to those who have lost their lives to animal abusers. This is a great way to save animals and bring justice to those who have lost their lives. Something needs to be done to help animals and Lady Freethinker is doing a wonderful thing to help animals by collecting signatures on these petitions.

I receive , almost daily, emails that have petitions to sign that are meant to help animals and bring those who harm animals to justice. Animal abuse all over the world is highlighted and attacked by Lady Freethinker, and hopefully some progress is made in the area of animal rights.

Many of the stories of animal abuse brought to light are truly horrific. But our legislators and justice system officers must be told that the public truly cares and justice fitting the crime is necessary.

The petitions presented help bring justice to living things who are merely considered property, by law.

This person works tirelessly exposing some of the worst and most horrifying animal abuse cases. I don't know how she does it, but she does. Some of the stories exposed are almost too hard to take and I admit I can't handle all of them. My hat is off to this person.

Everyone is familiar with the ASPCA and Humane Society. Lady Freethinker does vital work dealing with aspects of animal cruelty that these more visible organizations do not. I have been beyond horrified to read about the torture and violence to defenseless creatures not only in the U.S. but all around the world. Of particular importance is the fact that Lady Freethinker offers concrete steps to impact animal welfare plus locate, prosecute and prevent perpetrators from having the chance to continue their actions by offering petitions that go to politicians and courts for each individual atrocity and in some way offer some justice for the defenseless animals who've suffered or have tragically died as a result of the cruelty. Helping to insure that crimes are taken seriously and making penalties known can also help deter others who might be considering abuse and torture. This organization deserves support!!

This nonprofit does excellent work. Provides updates on petitions signed. It is not invasive as some nonprofits constantly bombarding and overwhelming supporters.

It is very important that animals get the same type of justice that humans get when some type of abuse or harassment occurs to them. All these animals wouldn't have gotten that justice if it wasn't for Lady Freethinker.

LFT does an outstanding job reporting on issues and events other animal rights organizations overlook. I am particular about what groups I donate to, and I have contributed to LFT because of the faith I have in their efforts.

This group is so well informed and up to date on things happening with animals I read them all the time. Some good and others real bad which is hard to take but it is the reality of the way the world is today. Sad things together with happy ones, others stimulating, creativeness , diversity, vocabulary foreigners can understand , without mentioning the easy way to fill up the petitions which come in a very nice way for me, who is not good at internet at all. I sign & share ALL HER PETITIONS, comments, news, everything. And they ALWAYS RESPOND my doubts, that's rare. They are objective, achieve their goals without beeing aggressive, on the contrary, with kindness they show the horrific points, can you understand what I mean? This nonprofit makes it easy for my voice to be heard related to animal cruelty. Petitions can be quickly customized and signed and they are used to let law enforcement, governmental officials, legislators, corporations and more know what I think. My voice is then combined with thousands of other voices to make a powerful impact. From speaking out on behalf of a single abused animal to the abuses perpetrated in corporate animal farming and the Yulin Dog Meat Festival, Lady Freethinker is a wonderful tool for all to exercise their voices on behalf of animals.

They are also helping to end the Yulin Meat festival in China where thousands of dogs are stolen and tortured and than killed . Absolutely horrible what is done at the Yulin dog meat festival . I like the ease with which I can view and sign petitions. Lady Freethinker keeps up with the animal abuse stories from around the world, finds the person/people who needed to be contacted to hold the abusers responsible and those who can change the laws.

Although I am sometimes sickened by the pictures of the poor animals, Lady Freethinker does not post overly-graphic photos for the sake of shock and awe. These pictures tell the stories that must be told; they are the evidence of the crimes.

Lady Freethinker makes it easy to share the petitions on social media, contribute to the causes, and contact the authorities.
