Programs: Housing: provides 102 single-occupancy apartments to low-income or homeless women. Also provides crisis housing, meals and supportive services for approximately 50 families at the ywca family center.
child care: provides before- and after-school child care and summer camp experience for elementary school children in three suburban school districts and the ywca family center.
preschool: provides child care for homeless infants, toddlers and preschoolers and integrates students from head start.
health and fitness: includes a complete co-ed health and fitness facility, including a pool, gym, and aerobics center that offers memberships to the general public and special population groups. Community advocacy: provides racial justice workshops anti-racism curriculum for children, hosts leadership luncheons focused on current issues, and publishes biweekly newsletters that feature current issues for women. Facility rental: offers office space, meeting rooms and event space to corporations, associations, and individuals.
