Mission: Wordstock is a literary art and education organization that celebrates and supports writing in the classroom and in the community. Our mission is to use the power of writing to effect positive change in people's lives.
Programs: Wordstock festival - to create and host an annual literary and cultural event of regional and national impact with the goal of inspiring readers and writers, and enabling the public to celebrate the vast power of the written word.
education - our holistic literary arts education program is designed to serve students, teachers, families, and writers to improve student writing. Wordstock's writing workshops include professional development programs for k-12 teachers, classroom writing residencies for k-8 students, family writing workshops that support writing at home, and a series of writing workshops that take place on-site at our annual literary arts festival.
