Mission: Women's Resource Center services encompass the diverse and comprehensive needs of individual and families impacted by domestic violence and sexual assault. These services include: a shelter for battered women and their children; crisis intervention services; a program for emergency motel placement when the shelter is full or inappropriate; information and referral; counseling for victims; a full service business drop-in center; emergency food, clothing and transportation; emergency police and hospital response; victim advocacy; legal resources; household establishment assistance; a court-approved treatment program for perpetrators of domestic violence; prevention education programs; a counseling program especially designed for the children of violent homes; a transitional housing program for families; and, a 24-hour crisis hotline.
