University of people may also utilize for-profit and non profit subsidiaries to carry out certain of its functions in order to operate in foreign jurisdictions and to recognize cost savings. To date, it has created a wholly-owned,foreign subsidiary in israel, u. O. P. Education ltd. ("uope"), which will assist in providing administrative services relating to processing student applications, and would also develop or provide software which would be used in web based training for students.
Programs: Education services: as stated in its mission, this organization seeks to provide quality web-based educational programs, leading to a degree for the successful participant. In 2011, the expenses included instructional expenses, accreditation expenses and support.
