Gowns and Gardens House of Charities

I met founder, Kenisa Nunley, over 20 years ago when I was a 13 year old runaway. She connected me to services that I needed & became a mentor to me throughout my teenage & young adult years. Today, she’s one of my closest dearest friends. Her heart for the disenfranchised is pure & her work ethic is impeccable. From community events, to connecting people with resources to empower them towards their goals, she & her organization are doing some very necessary work in the community.

Gowns & Gardens has been an integral part of the growth of ROTB Notary. From professional consultation services, to networking opportunities, to sponsorship, they were there & our organization is so much better for it!

This organization is a wonderful and amazing organization put together with love for the next generation. It's here to show support, teach, coach, and lead our children and youth to something new. The programs are an eye opener for the youth and this will help them be the best they can be and fulfill their purpose in life.

From day one I have been impressed with the professionalism and the ambience which is inviting and made me feel comfortable. This organization has shown they are reliable and operate with integrity. I would recommend this as a top rated nonprofit who from day one has shown its about the people they serve.

I was touched by Gowns and Gardens, because it offers open arms and open hearts to youth in providing support and encouragement to not only empowerment, but direction in how to get there.

It was a pleasure assisting G&G in their effort to put on a picnic beach gathering. Amazing opportunity to support an .org that is taking great strides to uplift and support women.

Having worked closely with this organization in helping to facilitate the set-up of events I can say it is one of the most honest and promising organizations in its mission and field.

I am impressed with the care and concern this organization has for women, children, and foster young people who have aged out of the system. I have learned about the difficulties foster children face when being rehomed and I believe this organization will be a huge benefit to the community and our society at large.
