Mission: The mission of Triangle Community Works (TCW) is to establish and maintain a coalition of individuals, organizations, programs, and projects in the Research Triangle area (Wake, Durham, and Orange counties) collaborating to make the region's environment a safe, healthy, and life-affirming place for members of lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender communities and their allies. TCW's current programs include the Gay and Lesbian Helpline, A Safer Place Youth Network (ASPYN), SeminarWorks, and twice-monthly Game Nights. The organization's long-term goal is to secure and manage an LGBT community center that provides office space/meeting rooms for TCW and other organizations and social areas. The intent is to maximize area resources, reduce duplication of efforts, and facilitate safe community interactions.
