Birthchoice is a wonderful organization that provides factual information so that women who may be pregnant can make an informed choice. The medical clinic is staffed by compassionate professional nurses as well as trained client consultants. This organization provides resources for women and families throughout the community. We are privileged to have an organization like Birthchoice as a resource for the men, women and children of our community.

Birthchoice is NOT about choice. They have no medical personnel on staff. They fasley protray themselves as clinic that gives the client the choice. How this happens, a person calls for an appointment for an abortion. They come in, thinking they are getting an abortion. The clinic staff dresses in scrubs, so the "patient" thinks they are medically trained. They are not, they have an ultra sound machine, which they use to give the client false information, that the patient is farther along then they originally think they are, so they don't want to get an abortion. Because, unlike the crazy right wing anti-choice would have you believe, the majority of proceedures are performed in the first tri-mester. Being told this information, usually will change the mind of the patient, not to abort because she feels she is too far along. Now we have another unwanted child in the world. But wait for it, the Catholics will help adopt your baby out and make a ton of money in the process. If you don't want to have an abortion, dont have one. That is what is great about choice.

My friend back in high school went to Birthchoice when she thought she was pregnant. The volunteers listened to her and helped her learn about all her options. I would reccomend this organization to any young woman I know.

There is never a time when I visit the office that I do not feel genuine concern, care and love. The staff and volunteers that serve women and men in crisis pregnancies have a special way to reach out and touch these people in their strained and confusing situations. They are committed to educating them about what is happening, always without pressure but always with genuine concern. Birthchoice is the epitome of sanctifying the precious nature of life.

This organization is wonderful and treats each person whether a client or volunteer with total respect and love. Birthchoice allows a woman to make an educated decision and lets her know that someone cares and will be there no matter what they decide. There is nothing better than seeing a young woman or couple get information and choose life. Lives are changed and saved at Birthchoice.

Birthchoice gave me the opportunity to share my love for others in a compasssionate situation. Having experienced an unplanned pregnancy, I have been able to encourage other women and offer them confidence. Many just need a a non-judgemental person to listen.

I love the example that the volunteers have provided for my children. They have babysat at the facility from time to time and volunteer when they can. My children and I have prayed in front of the abortion clinic. The volunteers at Birthchoice are wonderful witnesses who value the lives of both the mothers and their babies. Each life that is saved is celebrated.

Birthchoice is a vital and necessary part of this community, helping young mothers and fathers make the right choice. I only wish that my wife and I would have had an establishment like Birthchoice when we were young.

With my last child, I was able to receive a free ultrasound which allowed us to see for sure that it was only a single pregnancy. Additionally, it allowed our other children to meet their new sibling. It is financially costly to have a simple ultrasound and without Birthchoice we would have just had to forgo the opportunity. The staff were so welcoming and supportive and the office was family-friendly. We choose to support Birthchoice with our financial donations because we know firsthand the valuable service they offer to women and families. We plan to return to Birthchoice for our newest addition as well.

Birthchoice truly helps pregnant (and sometimes non-pregnant) women of all ages, races, and religions. The caring, friendly, and dedicated staff of volunteers empower these women by providing valuable and truthful information about pregnancy, adoption, and abortion, and suggest local resources who can help financially, materially, and emotionally—including Medicaid, Catholic Parish Outreach, Gabriel Project, New Leaf Behavioral Health, Project Rachel, various housing and employment options, and many more. All of Birthchoice's services are free to clients, including pregnancy tests and ultrasounds (they even pay cab fare when a woman has no form of transportation to the clinic!). Men and families are welcome at appointments to support the women, and the facility is cozy and welcoming.

During my pregnancy with my son Andrew, I was able to receive a free ultrasound at the Raleigh Birthchoice clinic to help me better place my due date. This was a mutually beneficial appointment because Birthchoice was in the process of training on their new ultrasound equipment with a beautiful flat screen imaging. My husband and two older children were welcome to see the results also and the professional staff was warm and supportive. The clinic is a very special place where I know women and families can come for supportive and confidential assistance during their pregnancy. I would encourage friends to seek the clinic for its resources as well as return to volunteer time, talent and treasure to support them in their mission to help other women and babies. We continue to support Birthchoice by contributing time and money to the effort. Thank you Birthchoice!
