Mission: The philosophy of The Tobias Project is that African American men lead a life that may be characterized by isolation, fear, antagonism, and character assault. Therefore, we seek to create an environment where we all respect and support each other, wherever each of us are on our journey.
To engage in educational and developmental activities within the African American community in Columbus, Ohio related to HIV prevention
To provide education related to diversity, homophobia, health issues, and demographics of the alternative population.
To provide role models to others in the community through study, research, writing, publications, programs and seminars, and distribution of information for citizens and professionals.

The Tobias Project, Inc. is the only organization in Columbus, Ohio that I have identified that does on-site or mobile testing for HIV/AIDS and other STDS free with same day results and counseling.
Eddie Jones, the Executive Director, provides dynamic leadership and works on the front line with his team.
