I've worked with the Throckmorton for benefits and community events. The theatre itself is in the heart of Mill Valley and brings heart to Mill Valley. Owner Lucy Mercer nurtures artistic growth while also providing an enviornment where community can meet and support each other. This is the collateral effect the Throckmorton Theatre has on our town and beyond, as events and collaborations the theatre has with various non-profits and artistic organizations is vast and growing. To live in a small town where art and entertainment, community service and opportunity are embodied in one magical space is truly wonderful. And much needed, especially in this modern technological age.
