Mission: Boch center is one of the nation's foremost nonprofit performing arts institutions. As guardian of historic venues, the wang and shubert theatres, boch center honors all aspects of the arts. Through numerous community outreach educational efforts, collaborations, and partnerships, boch center strives to educate and inspire greater appreciation for creativity as an essential component to the fabric of our society.
Programs: The center provides educational art programs to the community. Some of these programs are in partnership with boston public schools and include the in-school target arts programs that focuses on literacy; the city spotlights summer leadership program, which encourages urban high school students to pursue careers and leadership potential through arts; and interactive readings that bring stories to children in places such as faneuil hall, boston center for youth & families and community center sites. Annually, these programs impact more than 50,000 participants/audiences. In addition to these programs, the center distributes complimentary tickets to our education programs and community partners through the spectrum boston ticket access program.
the center operates two iconic arts venues, the wang and shubert theatres, for the purpose of presenting arts entertainment to the greater community. In addition, the center makes all needed repairs and renovations in order to properly maintain these facilities.

sponsorships - the center received payments from citibank in exchange for the citi naming rights through october 31, 2016. The center receives payment from boston port service, inc. In exchange for the boch naming rights (effective november 1, 2016) & other misc sponsorships.
