Mission:
The mission of The Utah Coalition for Animals dba No More Homeless Pets in Utah is to end the euthanasia of cats and dogs in Utah shelters and to promote humane alternatives for feral cats.
Programs: No More Homeless Pets in Utah programs include: The Big Fix, a mobile veterinary clinic that focuses on providing low-cost, high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter to no fewer than 23 of the 29 counties in Utah annually; The Free Fix, a program targeting very low-income populations which enables them to get their pets fixed at no charge; The Utah County Clinic, a stationary low-cost, high-volume, high-quality, veterinary clinic serving one of the largest and most under-served counties in Utah; The Feral Fix, a spay/neuter program which reduces the numbers of un-owned/free-roaming cats and humanely solves cat-related nuisances; bi-annual Super Adoption events, designed to find homes for hundreds of animals over a three-day period; and Utah's Week for the Animals, created as a way to bring public attention to the roles that animals play in our lives and to the importance of responsible pet ownership.
