Mission: Isc serves our community creating inspiring, accessible theater and bring it to as wide as audience as possible. The primary way we achieve this is by providing professional productions of classical works in the los angeles community for free through the griffith park free shakespeare festival
Programs: Griffith park free shakespeare festival: 49 performances of two plays (richard iii and the tempest))over eleven weeks in the summer. June 35th to september 4th. All performances were admission free. The season attracted an audience of 48,000. The festival also provided four free workshops for families, 5 free pre-show discussions and 9 free pre-show peformances by other local artis. The organization also presented productions of othello,a midsummer night's dream, and a christmas carol with charles dickens. The organization continued the new ticketing initiative in fall of 2015 for the 2016-17 studio season. This includes the theatre for all, which offers a number of free tickets to every performance.
