Mission: The Enrichment Center was founded in 1983 as an arts-based day program to address a gap in services for adults with developmental disabilities. The Center recognizes that two things about its participants that will never change - they have a disability and they have a talent which can enrich society. All of The Enrichment Center's programs are designed to help participants take an active and productive role in typical community life. To accomplish these goals, the Center offers an arts program that promotes talent development and careers for individuals with disabilities, and a supported employment program that provides job training and long term follow-up support for adults with disabilities. In addition, the Center serves people with developmental and other disabilities and their families and caregivers through advocacy, education, referral, and resource information.
