Mission: The arc advocates for children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities by safeguarding their rights, facilitating choice and promoting independence and inclusion in school and community life. We provide:1. Assistance and advocacy for individuals with disabilities and their families to help them get the services they need. 2. Special education advocacy to students with disabilities and their families to help improve service and outcomes. 3. Educational workshops and information to people with disabilities, families and professionals on disabilities and the best practices to promote understanding and bring about better services. We also collaborate with others in the community to bring about improvements to systems of support. 4. School-to-community transition in school programs for students 14-21.
