The Health Care Network is an integral part of health care in Racine. Since the inception in the late 1980's the Health Care Network has been pivotal in caring for families not covered by heath insurance or medicaid. Our family has always provided financial assistance to this most worthy non profit organization. Racine is a better place with the help of the Health Care Network.
This is the 30th anniversary of the Health Care Network. This organization has been an integral part of Racine's nonprofits. The number of individuals they have served through has been vital for these individuals who could not have coverage elsewhere. This is a great organization and will always have an important part in our community..
I had the pleasure of treating patients through the Health Care Network for 3 years and they are some of my most appreciative patients. The organization does great things for the people of Racine and it is an honor and privilege to be a part of.
I am a volunteer and find it personally rewarding to provide dental care to Racine’s underserved. Staff are especially helpful making my contribution possible. Without this facility emergency rooms would be more crowded and necessary oral care unavailable.
I first became aware of Health Care Network over 10 years ago when a family member needed medical assistance. At the time I was so happy my loved one could receive the help they needed. Fast forward 10 years and Health Care Network is in my sights again as an organization I refer fellow community members to. They have a dedicated staff that treat their patients with dignity and respect and an amazing group of volunteer providers. Their new office space is welcoming and is sure to help patients feel cared for and respected.
Health Care Network has been a service like no other! The office is small which makes it a more intimate experience for the patients. There is always a need and work to be done, and the staff assists in translating and helping the volunteers provide quality care. I would recommend Health Care Network to anybody.
I am a former board member and longtime donor to Health Care Network. HCN is a well run organization that benefits all of the Racine County community. Those who benefit directly from the health appointments are the most obvious winners, but we all benefit from less emergency room and walk in clinic visits by those that are able to see doctors as illnesses occur and not wait until illnesses have become catastrophic.
The staff at HCN is an amazing group that run a quality organization on a "shoestring" budget. I am very proud to be a Health Care Network donor.
I am proud to be a donor, volunteer and board member of Health Care Network as it celebrates 30 years of providing health care to Racine County residents in need. Services have always been provided by committed health care professionals who volunteer their time, offices and skills. It is an easy organization to support and a true treasure in our community!
My first experience with Health Care Network came about when several friends asked for volunteers at a Hawaiian Luau fundraiser in 2003 and 14 years later, I am now a proud donor, volunteer and board member of the organization. Health care is a privilege that many of us are fortunate to have and for those who don’t, Health Care Network steps in. Our community doctors, dentists, nurses and health care professionals donate their own time and willingly share their knowledge to provide expert care and treatment to clients. Alison and her wonderful team treat clients with respect, professionalism and compassion as they help clients navigate the sometimes challenging health care system. Celebrating its 30th anniversary this year showcases Health Care Network’s excellent work and commitment within our community!
The staff at HCN are wonderful and go above and beyond the call of duty to help others in need. I will continue and encourage others to donate to this great organization that is truly making a difference in the lives of others within our community.
I have been a volunteer provider for medical/surgical services since 1990. It has been a very gratifying experience. The mission to serve those patients in our community who are most vulnerable when they do not qualify for employer provided insurance or government provided assistance. The patients have always been very grateful.
I have been rewarded with hugs, cheers, and tears. Of all of the 100s of patients that I have had the pleasure to take care of over the years, the most reporting one was a woman in her late 40s who was working in housekeeping for a local hotel. Her employer did not provide any health insurance and her income was too great to qualify for governmental assistance. She developed a pulsatile mass in her neck and was found to have a carotid body tumor. She needed surgical resection and vascular reconstruction. I was able to enlist the services of a partner who was also a volunteer provider and who was expert in this area. Patient had a successful surgery and very successful outcome. The best part, however, was about 6-8 months later when I was exiting an elevator in the hospital and low and behold, she was there in a hospital provided housekeeping uniform. She proceeded to tell me that she was so grateful for the care she received and arranged through the Health Care Network that she chose to apply for a position in the environmental services department of the hospital. She was hired and therefore had access to health insurance, and subsequently retired from the hospital organization some 15 years later.
In addition to being a volunteer provider, I have been happy to serve as a Board member for the past 5 years and will be completing my 2nd and final term next year as an active board member. It has been a privilege to continue to support this organization and continue its Legacy from its inception. It clearly deserved the recognition as one of President George W. Bush's "1000 Points of Light" .
Muy agradecida con todo el equipo de Health Care Network gracias a ellos nosotros tenemos doctor Dentista etc...
Que dios bendiga esta organización y todas sus trabajodores voluntarios y portadores
I am a long-time donor, former board member and continuing committee member for special events for this outstanding non-profit. Health Care Network, Inc. is well organized and efficient, and provides much needed care for our most vulnerable. Patients receive expert care and services by outstanding community volunteer health care and dental providers. HCN staff treats all with professionalism, dignity, and compassion. I am proud to continue supporting and volunteering with Health Care Network, and I salute the terrific staff, capably led by Executive Director, Alison Sergio.
The staff here is always professional and courteous. I've donated to this amazing agency a few times and each time the staff makes sure I understand how valuable the donations are. I'm never made to feel out of place when I go in as even the Executive Director goes out of her way to welcome and thank everyone. If anyone is looking to volunteer or donate medical or office supplies, I strongly recommend giving to Health Care Network.
As a member of the Board of Directors for the Health Care Network, I have the opportunity to see up close the good work being done and the critical health services being provided to those in need in Racine County. Alison and her team go above and beyond to meet the needs of the clients they serve, and all are treated with care and respect. I'm grateful we have this organization in our area.
I am privileged to volunteer at HCN as a Chiropractor. I see first hand the dedication and hard work of the staff, directors and many volunteers. They have always made me feel welcome and are eager to help me share my skills with the needy patients there. Racine, WI is very fortunate to have this facility.
I am a donor and a board member of this organization. They are working every day to make sure that all Racine County residents have access to medical and dental care regardsless of their economic status. Alison, her team, and all of the volunteer providers care for some of the community’s most at risk populations with respect and needed attention. They are always focused on the needs of the patients and ever-changing insurance coverage environment to adapt.
