Mission: The texas public broadcasting association will increase public awareness, develop mechanisms for member cooperative efforts, and promote the funding and general well-being of public broadcasting for the benefit of the people of texas.
Programs: The texas public broadcasting association represents the 12 texas public television stations. The association conducts fundraising for the stations along with statewide underwriting. The association also works with state agencies and other statewide organizations to develop new programming, educational outreach and community engagement. The association manages these activities for the stations and provides financial and project management for joint-station projects.
