Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Cancer, Cancer Research, Health, Pediatrics Research

Mission: Surviving Artists Inc., founded in May 2000, was prompted from personal experience that the road to a cure for all cancers seems to be long, and can never have too much funding for education, awareness, and most importantly, genetic research. This is a research that is still in the infant stages for great potential in treatments for cancer before it strikes. The most prominent need for genetic testing is found among women with breast cancer, and the need to pre-determine risk and treatments in our teenage daughters. These break through milestones are very encouraging for those whom can afford the cost of genetic testing. It is the directive of Surviving Artists Inc. to strive for more affordable research, while providing affordable testing facilities, and mammography centers until this pre-advanced testing is available to everyone regardless of welfare status. Surviving Artists Inc. will make every attempt to succeed in providing hope that all cancer patients will "Survive"
