Mission: Supportone's mission is to promote independence for adults with intellectual disabilities through individualized support and services.
Programs: Supportone's program accomplishments for fiscal 2016 include: awarded $20,000 capital improvement grant from the kovar corporation, a virginia knights of columbus charity. This grant enabled us to meet our strategic initiative to support our residents as they begin to "age in place". Specifically, five bathrooms were renovated for wheelchair accessibility. Tubs were replaced with roll-in showers. Wall mounted sinks were installed as well as grab bars, updated flooring and lighting, and other ada compliant modifications. Maintained a volunteer base in excess of 200 individuals. Our partnerships with hands on greater richmond (now in it's fifth year) and the catholic heart work camp continue to engage volunteers to support our organization.
