Causes: Animal Training, Animals
Mission: The purpose of the organization is to train, take care and maintain police dogs; and to provide educational services to youth about crime.
Programs: A. Sponsored and funded a toys for tots christmas giving program and provided a christmas for approximately 150 under privileged kids in stanislaus county. B. Participated in a back to school program in concert with the salvation army to provide 1,000 under privileged kids with a backpack and school supplies. Over 300 backpacks and supplies were given to children apart of this program. C. Assisted childrens crisis center of stanislaus county with the purchase of a ipads and associated software programs to monitor children and their developmental achievements at their various facilities throughout the county. In addition to the electronic devices, toys and outdoor play structures were also purchased for the crisis center. D. Paid for the family of deputy dennis wallace to fly to washington dc and spend a week there for the national police week, where families of fallen officers are honored each year. $15,000 was donated to the blue line wives who used the donation for a memorial placard at a park in dennis wallace's home town. E. The organization continued to care for all of its retired police k9s by paying for all medical expenses for all retired canines. F. Ssk9 also continued to assist in supporting other local non profits such as, chp 11-99 foundation, stanislaus county police activity league and others.
