It is a great joy for me to write this review acknowledging the hard work and effort of Relief, Inc. in giving House of Hope Orphanage in Ganta City, Nimba County-Liberia the opportunity to a Memorandum of Understanding between the orphanage and Relief, Inc. We are grateful to God for the opportunity Relief, Inc. is giving the Orphans at House of Hope Orphanage in Ganta City, Nimba County, Liberia., "Creating Life Through Art" We appreciate the drawing items sent recently to our orphans. It is helping the kids move from one level to become Aspiring Artistic. Thanks for the courage given me in getting the kids birth certificates prepared on time for the opening of the orphans trust funds in our orphanage Home. The House of Hope Orphanage family want to say “Thank you ya” and Let God continue to bless and favor Relief Inc. so as to enable other less fortunate children be blessed like ours. Rev. It is with great pleasure and opportunity to extend my thanks and appreciation for Relief, Inc.'s tireless effort in supporting me in your noble institution up to my graduation. It is with gratitude and appreciation to Relief, Inc., and it's Donors for your tireless efforts in supporting the Country cloth weaving Empowerment Program that created employment for me.
Relief, Inc. has brought changes in my life. I have started school through the help of Relief, Inc. I was also opportune to serve as Teacher Assistance to teach other women how to weave the country cloth what I have learned over the years.
Thanks so very much. May God continue to bless Relief, Inc., and family for tireless support to us. We pray for continuous support from Relief, Inc., and her donors to keep the Women of Worth (WOW) weaving program. This program is significant to our community and family.
Teacher' Assistance (TA)
It is with great pleasure and opportunity to extend my thanks and appreciation to you and all others who supported the Relief, Inc. Women of Worth (WOW) Country cloth weaving program.
The first phase of this project has given me the courage to always work for Relief, Inc. as long as it still functions. Working for Relief, Inc. has brought joy and changes in my life and the life of my family.
I am so happy to be called a Teacher. Thanks so much, mother, for your effort. Please extend my thanks to everyone who supported this program.
I greet you in the name of Jesus. I am one of your students. Victoria Kollie, I am writing to tell you how happy I am for this kind of training you and Relief, Inc gave me. I did not know that I could be financially supported by a nonprofit to learn how to weave fabric to become self-sufficient. The training is so good, and it has taught me how to weaved Country cloth by myself.
I greet you in the name of the Lord Jesus.
My name is Hawa A. Dixson. I want to say thanks to Relief, Inc., for giving me such training that today, I'm able to weave Country cloth. I really could not continue my high school education because of finance. Relief's all-paid weaving program has given me another knowledge that I will greatly benefit from for the rest of my life. I know what it is not like not to follow your education due to the lack of finance.
Hawa A. Dixson
I am so glad to extend my thanks to the Relief, Inc., Women of Worth (WOW) program for sponsoring my training, which I saw as an opportunity for me to learn something for myself and become somebody in society for tomorrow. If it has not been for the Relief, Inc., weaving program, one like me will not have such training. Thank you so much for such an opportunity where the organization prepays my tuition.
Elizebeth T. Thomas
I am so grateful to God and the Relief, Inc. family for allowing me to be a part of the Country cloth weaving program, which has benefited me so much. I had indeed dropped out at some point in time when faced with some family issues, but with God's grace, I was able to gain some knowledge from the training, and today I know how to weave the country cloth. I wish to continue training during the next section and learn more.
May God bless the hands of your work.

I am excited to be a part of the weaving training program that teaches me to create fabric. I am willing to learn more to become useful for tomorrow, and my family can be proud of me. I hope the WOW women program continues as it brings value to our future.

Dear, Mrs. Phebe Dennis-Fortt
I take this time to extend my thanks and appreciation for your high support towards our education in the Relief, Inc. Women of Worth (WOW) Country cloth weaving program.
When I heard about the Relief, Inc., weaving program lunch, I am a high school graduate that had nothing to do at that time but fry plantain chips. I deem it necessary to join them to learn how to weave because once I know how to weave country cloth, it will help me sustain my family.
I have encouraged other young women to participate in the program and its value to our community and families.
Thank you so much. May the Lord Almighty continue to bless you and your family in Jesus's name.

Dear, Mrs. Phebe Dennis-Fortt
Greetings come to you with Love and happiness in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Thank you for the opportunity that Relief, Inc., provided for us that brought a change into our lives. Because it is not easy for us in Liberia these days, as a high school graduate with nothing to do when I heard about Relief, Inc.’s weaving program, I decided to participate and continue the training to gain more knowledge.
I am pleading to Relief, Inc., and its donors to please continue this more needed program that will empower us to become self-sufficient.
Thanks! Thanks!! Thanks!!
My name is Alexis Martinez a high School student in Modest, CA. I started volunteering at Relief, Inc with my mom. My mom really enjoys working with Mrs. Fortt. My mom always tells her friends and family that Mrs. Fortt is a beautiful woman with a pure heart.
Relief Inc worked hard to raise the money needed to build a fence for the House of Hope Orphanage in Liberia so the kids could still have a safe place to live. Being part of that is really heartwarming. And the work that is being done in Liberia doesn’t stop there. Mrs. Fortt continues to work with women and children by teaching them work-skills and sending children to college.
Relief also is making awesome work here in our community. We pick up bread and pastries to feed the homeless every Saturday. Relief, Inc bread program collaborates with churches to feed in our community. The program also helps to feed our MJC students’ breakfast and stock their pantry on Tuesday’s and Wednesday’s.
We need our community to work together with us and volunteers for our Crab Fest and Firework booth. I will continue helping Mrs. Fortt and my mother in what is needed from me and I look forward to meeting new people and kids my age group.
Relief, Inc a small non-profit organization among many, many multi-million-dollar non-profits. Our Relief, Inc. reminds me of the children’s book, “The Little Engine That Could” by Watty Piper. That little train says, “I think I can, I think I can” climb that mountain to get books and toys to children on the other side. Phebe Denis-Fortt, our engineer tackles each mountain of obstacles just like the little train engineer. Relief, Inc. works locally in Modesto, California and Internationally mainly in Liberia were Phebe was born and raised.
There have been many mountains to cross for Relief Inc since August 2003, but the one close to my heart is the Ebola Crisis in Liberia. Phebe’s mountain was the Ebola crisis that hit West Africa in 2014, our engine was the many local volunteers who helped in getting books, clothes and school supplies across the Atlantic Ocean for children in Liberia who could not go to school. Children who needed to study at home to keep safe. A 40-foot shipping container with safe items was shipped with the help of volunteers and donors who believed in, “I think I can” became “I know we can, I believe we can and we did it!”
As a volunteer who may never meet those children who benefited from this Relief, Inc project, I am proud to say our little organization runs like a big multi-million-dollar one when it comes to helping those who cannot help themselves. We may not have corporate dollars supporting our efforts, we have Phebe Dennis-Fortt and our volunteers who she has met along her life’s travels to take up the cause. We welcome all who come with BIG HEARTS!!!!!
Volunteer since 2010
When I first heard about Relif inc. I wasn't sure what the organization did. Once I asked the founder Phebe Dennis-Fortt what her organizaion was about and what her goals were things became more apparent. After identfying the specific projects and watching and monitoring their implimentaion I realized that this orgization is fully invested in both the local and international community. They focus on Women and children primarily with a secondary focus on men. In Northern California the focus is on the Homeless providing valueble notrition thru the Daily Bread Program. Which privides fresh bread to the homeless, Chuches and Schools. Relief Ic. gives out Turkeys to the homeless during the hoildays and Toys for Christmas when donations allow. As far as internationally I have watched Relief Inc. Sponser and orthange, Provide Medical supplies, food, books and much much more! This organzation is the real deal!
I have been volunteering at Relief Inc. for over two years as Accounts Manager. The experience has been pleasant as well as challenging. The pleasure of helping women and children in less fortunate countries with our programs have been truly rewarding.
Relief Inc. is a great non- profit organization that helps with sponsorship and education for women, children and orphans. It has been a pleasure to be able to be a part of such an organization that has helped so many woman and children around the world. The crab feed, and fireworks fundraising have been both fun and beneficial to the disadvantaged women, children, and orphans in the community and the world. I look forward to helping in any way I can in its future goals.
I have been working with Relief Inc for the last 10 years. They have done so much work to help women and children in Liberia. Some of that work would consist of putting school and food drives together to ship out to Liberia to help those families. Along with that Relief Inc has put on crab feeds and other type of events to donate to the families in Liberia. Relief Inc has opened up my eyes and heart and to so much. It is a great organization to be a part of. The impact that they are making is absolutely phenomenal. There need to be more organizations like Relief Inc.
Christian Love B.C. has a Feeding program for the homeless and those who are hungry. Rain or shine we are outside with a full home cooked meal and RELIEF INC. provides bread and dessert to complete the meal. Every week they are cheerfully and humbly providing food. When needed they step in to help prepare plates or serve with compassion and without hesitation.
Before Relief, Inc. we were getting donations from a store. But they were not consistent. And would not tell us there were not any donations... they just wouldn’t answer the door when we went for a pick up. Now Relief shows up and fills the need every week. Praise God!
Danielle YRH- Co Chair.
I had the pleasure of volunteering at the crab feed. It was by far one of the most organized events that I've ever volunteered for. Mrs Phebe and the organization are making it available for us to help communities that we normally don't have the resources or opportunities to reach. What better cause is there than to help women and children in impoverished countries. I have been a wiling volunteer for a few years now and looking forward to working with them for many more years!!!
Katie’s Kitchen is a ministry program of Emanuel Lutheran Church. Each week we receive a donation from Panera Bread thanks to Relief, Inc. The pastries we receive help to extend our meal. We use the baguettes to make baked French toast.
The mission carried out by Phebe is unique and essential for the development of villages in Liberia. The help she provides from the initiatives she has initiated in the United States since its inception is, without a doubt, a grain that adds to the struggle for education and progress. My relationship with the organization began a year ago and since then, we have supported and served all Relief's campaigns on social networks. Seeing the impact and testimonies of the people she has helped so far has been, (and still is) an absolute pleasure.
It's very rare to come across people and organizations that are as value-driven as Phebe and Relief Inc. The effort they put into promoting their cause goes beyond any imagination. Supporting and educating the less-fortunate is key and central in building a caring and warm society. Great Job Relief! May you keep on growing
Relief Inc. is a great organization that puts her priorities in the right place. When Relief Inc. was informed that the orphanage was potentially going to be shut down because the orphanage did not have a fence. Relief Inc. created “The Fence Project” at the orphanage. Relief Inc. provided the orphanage the resources to protect the kids and the property by building a fence. And House of Hope on the map of modern orphanages in Liberia. God for Mrs. Phebe Dennis-Fortt and Relief Inc. for the heart felt love and concern for the Children.
Mother Alice K. Jargbah
We are very thankful to the almighty God for connecting us with Relief Inc through Deacon Joseph F. Varney. Long live Mrs. Fortt, Long live Relief Inc. No one else would have done it but Relief Inc did it for us. We are secure. Relief has erased our name from the list of closing by the government of Liberia. Thank God we are safe.
Gogo Behn-Student at House of Hope Orphanage
Thank God for this great work done by Relief Inc. Our students will be protected during school hours; we will have better control over the kids during recess and class hours. May God Bless Relief Inc and increase them in everything they desire to do for less fortunate children.

Review on Relief Inc Projects at House of Hope
The Relief Inc. supplied the resources to build a fence at House of Hope, once fully completed the House of Hope will be on the map of accredited Orphanages with the Gender ministry in Liberia and give real security to the children and property of House of Hope. Praise God for Relief Inc. Praise God for Mrs. Fortt.

Since I’ve been with Relief, Inc., I have seen amazing things happened. I met the founder Phebe Dennis-Fortt when she was in the process of organizing their 13th Annual Crab Fest. I was excited to have the opportunity to be a part of the event. I was able to see everything that goes on behind the scene. With all the work that was put into the event, not once did I see the founder take a break. She is a role model to me. I’m so bless to have had the opportunity to have met her and have her be a part of my life.
The work Relief, Inc. has done over the years, with little or no help. I strongly believe if this organization has more volunteers, donors and partners they would do more great and amazing things in giving a hand up to those in need.
Relief, Inc. helps women and children in school in Liberia, West Africa by paying their tuition. This organization Just build a fence around the House of Hope Orphanage creating a save place for the orphans and to prevent the orphanage from being shut down.
They did not stop there, they sponsor 10 women into their Women Of Worth (WOW)Program. See photos of Relief, Inc 2018 women weaving program.
I am pleading to businesses that provide pro bono services to adopt this organization. They could use more donors and partners as well as volunteers that need community service hours or would like to make a difference.
My name is Naomi Ashton and I have worked with Relief Inc. as both a volunteer and graphic artist for a year now. Each event that I have helped at was always a great success, but not without hard work from the awesome team! As with any social event, problems can arise but every situation was handled with professionalism and tact. I really like the fact that Relief Inc. donates their profits to help better the lives of children in Liberia, Africa. This organization has helped hundreds of children, and will continue to do so, but not without the help of the community. My business, 1st Class, has designed posters, tickets, flyers, and event invitations for this organization. Such work can be viewed on all platforms of Relief Inc.’s social media and my company’s Instagram account @1stclassprod. I am looking forward to helping out at the next upcoming event!
(Attached is an image of a little boy named Victor, who is currently being helped through Relief Inc.)
Great non profit organization. I love volunteering and can't wait to assist again next year at the crabfest. If you have not attended any Relief Inc events, your missing out.
I truly enjoy working with Relief, inc. The driving force behind it is an incredible woman. Her intelligence, hard work and business savvy are unsurpassed. These qualities are enhanced by her genuine faith, warmth and concern for the women, children and families of Liberia that she wholeheartedly serves.
I have helped with the fireworks fundraiser booth for the past two years. It always feels good to know that I'm helping a worthy cause. The work that Relief, Inc does is much needed and I plan to continue to be of assistance as often as I can.
Relief, Inc. is a non-profit organization established in 2003 with a dedicated mission to help others locally as well as internationally. The founder’s vision is to make life easier for the most vulnerable in society locally and abroad by providing humanitarian aid to those that have suffered and experienced life from a hopeless perspective
The founder of Relief Inc. is from Western Africa and has experienced similar experiences in her own upbringing and as a result has a heartfelt desire to help others.
Phebe Dennis-Fortt the Founder of Relief Inc.is 100% committed, she will not give up. Her determination to help others gives her the strength to find the resources for financial support as well as finding the people to help make things happen. She is able to face discouragement and disappointment and not give up. Her faith in God gives her the strength to show others how they can improve their lives. She encourages people to have faith in God. Very few people are willing to make sacrifices in order to help others, Mrs. Phebe Dennis-Fortt is one of those rare human beings that is!
Working with her is an experience that more people should experience. It would help them to feel good about themselves and connected to humanity in a special Christian loving and giving way. If you know of someone with the means and desire to give financially or able to contribute in any other way. Relief, Inc. is it. Your time and/or money is the best investment a person can make. I would still be working with her had it not been for my health. I look forward to getting involved with Relief again soon.
God bless Relief, Inc. and its Founder Phebe Dennis-Fortt.
Relief Inc is a fantastic organization. Phebe Dennis-Fortt is a passionate and tenacious woman. I have seen this project grow and pulsate throughout the years and seen the people it has touched. I remember the dirty bustle of Liberia and this woman seeming to be the only one trying to save a people that at times didn’t seem to want to save themselves. This woman is doing an unbelievable job even when she can’t find volunteers to help. I encourage you to get involved with this organization to help Human Kind! I give this organization 5 stars
I have been in Relief inc. for a great amount of time of my life. I have seen and felt the generosity and kindness it has offered Liberia, Africa. I started out young and unaware of what I was doing. I started out buttoning up shirts and separating clothes. Later I found myself packing those clothes and other nonperishable goods into barrels and boxes to be shipped to Liberia. I was unaware of where it was going and who would receive it. Until 2006, when I took a big trip with the Container I helped pack. It was a long trip but I would say it was very worth it. I finally got my answers to my questions. Why I loaded up the Container and what was the fruit of my labor. I got see many liberians receive the food and clothes and other items from people who donated them out of the kindness of their heart. I gotta say Relief Inc. is a very small Organization but can do very big things. My story is just a small portion of a big story that will continue on with the help of others. Honestly I’ll give Relief Inc. 5/5 Stars just for their efforts alone.
I was contacted by Relief Inc. representative and the Liberia Director Aloysius Barr. In December 2004
Mr. Barr asked if I would join the day to day operations as a volunteer to help with the distribution of goods. I agreed and we proceeded to begin the work of trying to assist Relief Inc. with the clearing of a 40 foot container that had been shipped from California. Things did not go as expected but after many payments to officials of various organizations both public and private we were able to get the container released. One of the things that impressed me the most was the dedication of the Founder Phebe Dennis Fortt and her husband Ronald A.J. Fortt was there commitment, determination and passion about helping the People of Liberia, Particular during the Christmas holiday. Relief Inc distributed goods all the way up to Dec 23, 2006 just in time for people to have a good Christmas. I will never forget how people were shocked to have someone knocking on their doors and giving them food, clothing and medical supplies. This is an organization that I would rate 5 stars. With that said, Relief Inc. needs to help more people. I encourage anyone reading this review to volunteer! If you can’t volunteer please donate. They do great work and I am proud to have been associated with this organization.
E. Benjamin Saylee
My name is Michael R. I've known the Founder of Relief Inc more than fifteen years and I haven't seen anyone as dedicated to the cause of people as this individual. The responsibility this organization has demonstrated deserves you donations. " When we give others live".
Working with RELIEF INC. is a blessing. There is much work to be done with few laborers. The members dedication, hard work and long hours reflect how important it is to help women and children in need. Working the fireworks booth and festivals have been rewarding.
The only things preventing this organization from being 5 star is more volunteers and supporters.

Dear Relief Inc.:
My sincere greetings to you in the cause of Education form Totoa City, Lower Bong County, Liberia.
I write to extend my heartfelt thanks and appreciation to you as an organization catering to vulnerable kids for your level of assistance you are giving to my children. After I lost their father, you are the first person/organization ever to render this kind of assistance to them educationally, which have given me a chance to move around for my own education.
Presently, my two kids are in school after you paid their yearly school tuition, and bought their school uniforms. I am highly grateful to God for you and your organization.
Thank you so much for this great assistance and the opportunity granted me for my kids. I looked forward to you for future other assistance for these children and myself for the betterment of our lives. As a mother to them, I am presently in Grade 12th, trying to complete my high school education.
Again, thanks you and may God Almighty richly bless you and the your donor/organization.
Hi My Name is Maier N. Goodridge and a Liberian. This review is about some of the work that was done in Liberia by Relief, Inc. (This is a truth eye's accurate information.) Relief doing the heat of the war in Liberia decided to help her people with so many issues, how can I do this, she asked. I am not on the ground but I think a litter bit of this and that will do. So Relief, Inc., moved in 2006 with a 40 foot container load of supply ranged from food, beds, medical equipment, medical supplies, cloth, and school supplies etc. Which was distributed to schools, hospitals and internally displace persons. Relief did not stop there she decided not just to give a man a fish but teach him to fish. Relief Inc., awarded scholarships to women to enable them to enroll in the tailoring a skills training program at the Maryann Cheeseman School of Home Arts. On Broad street Monrovia, Liberia. West/Africa. Student’s form this program today are now business owners and are providing for their families. Additional Relief Inc. provided Scholarships for young school boys and girls. Many other students benefited that were about to drop out of primary schooling if it were not for the donations that Relief Inc. made happen.
C.H. Rennie Hospital Healthcare facility in Kakata also benefited from medical supplies and beds, matters and medical beds. The Redemption hospital on bush road island New Kru town Monrovia which was host to most of the ill (IDPs) and has ran out of hospital beds this hospital rejected sick people because of lack of beds. Relief Inc. also provided beds, medical drugs and medical equipment. Relief Inc. also provided transportation for those items to get to the people on time.
With the challenges, rainy days and storms that Relief, Inc. has weathered. Relief Inc. continues to move forward where other missions have failed. There seems to be misunderstanding of the roll of the missions by people who have worked in Liberia with Relief Inc., and within the Liberian government where corruption seems to come from every end. Phebe has the needed knowledge and information to continue to make progress. Phebe is a strong woman with the heart of love for humanity.
As for the Financial Ministry in Liberia and corruption associated with it. It took someone with real dedication like Phebe to overcome one of the worst problems in Liberia’s history. Phebe did not give up she stood the test of time and made sure the 40ft container with Relief supply reached the most needy people in Liberia in 2006 and then again seven years later in 2013 during the Ebola crises.
I am very grateful to God Almighty and Relief Inc. for the opportunity given me to serve as a Volunteer Teacher for the Art kids in Ganta House of Hope Orphanage. It has improve my artist works and shown me a better way of coordinating or working with kids that are orphans.
I highly appreciate this opportunity and pray that God continue to bless and favor Relief Inc. in all their endeavors in helping less fortunate children in Liberia and rest of the world.

In the year 2007, I work with Relief Inc., to assist Administration with incoming and outgoing inventory and also to do video recording. With the present of Relief Inc., it has been a blessing to Liberian people, Relief Inc. save life's and carry on medical attention including, food, shattering, taking care of homeless kids, women and men,, providing cloth and education support as well.. We the Liberian are grateful and will always like for Relief Inc. to be in Liberia as Second God to the Liberian people,,, my time with Relief Inc., and the president or CEO I pray that God will expand this NGO to the highest.. I stand to recommend Relief, Inc. as number one during our time of need.... Thanks.

I've known the founder of this organization for about 9 years now. This is a fabulous organization and its founder works tirelessly to make sure the women and children have a better chance at life. Do not hesitate to donate!
The work done by Relief Inc is wonderful. The volunteers are devoted to helping those less fortunate. The leader of this organization is simply amazing her eye never leaves the prize. Giving back is her main goal!
Relief it is a fantastic organization I volunteered and we put books together and donated clothes to ship in two containers to be sent to Africa I have also experienced a great speaker that relieve helped he gave an amazing testimonial that's how I really think has helped town and his family. I have been to several functions that relief Inc has put on to help those in Africa I had an amazing time. I remember about 2 years ago relief and put on a community that at Christmas time to help those that are less fortunate in the community. I would definitely support this organization.
The African Division of Relief Inc. has an office in Modesto Ca. Recently my children and I attended an International Festival in Modesto. We enjoy this event every year and each year the booth representing Liberia is one of, if not, our favorite.
It's educational with energetic representatives who gladly explain the display. They make it easy as the display is unique. There's more than a map and a list of important resources from Liberia. With rubber, diamonds, cloth, cocoa, and I'm sure I missed something all coming out of Liberia, this booth takes the extra step of putting on display each of the items. You can touch and read in detail about the contributions of the resources.
Not only is this memorable for the kids, but it shows the adults just how diverse and important a country like Liberia is to the world.
Kudos to Phebe Dennis-Fortt and the team out of Modesto involved with ReliefInc. A seemingly one day little event can really count towards increasing awareness when many add up and the individuals put forth the effort for each one. Clearly, that happened at our International Heritage Festival in Modesto, CA.
Thanks again guys.
My name is Matu Suah. I live in Liberia, West Africa. I am grateful to Relief, Inc. for being there for my children education through the KIS-Kids in School program. As a mother, I could not imagine how to generate money to settle their tuitions.
I want to say a big thank you to Relief, Inc. for the assistance in keeping my kids in school.
I pray that such a help will be given to other less fortunate children like mine. May God bless Relief, Inc.’s family all over the world.
Relief, Inc. Heal!
I want to first of all, give thanks to the almighty God for sparing my life and that of my family, form the outbreak of the Ebola virus in Liberia.
This was an in determinant and a painful situation that forced you to neglect your love one.
Special thanks to Relief Inc for affording my son the opportunity in going back to school, that is, by paying his school fees, I notice that Relief Inc is always at my door step giving me a helping hand where there seem to be no way.
After the 2003 – 2004 crisis in our country, Liberia, which cause us to lose our home and everything that we had.
I Started to sell porter (Clay) to sustain my family, we could not afford a meal a day just imagine that!
Do you know what it mean where your child cry for milk, you give him sugar water to drink, because you cannot afford to buy milk for him.
I kept myself hungry when people give me food, jut for my child to have something to eat, I felt that there were no hope in life.
Each night when I go to bed, I pray not to see the break of day, because I don’t want to see my child suffering, so many thing happened until 2006 - 2007 I got in contact with Relief Inc. God first, through the help of my son father Mr. Aloysius Barr, my living condition change, Relief Inc helped us with some Relief Item and started to pay my son school fees, that was when I regain my pride and dignity and also I regain my hope, Relief Inc really heal.
Where you are, you can also be a blessing to someone and God will reward you. give a helping hand to a child who cannot afford a meal a day, a child who does not have home, a child who wants to learn but no financial backing, an Orphan who wants to called you mama and daddy, and wants to be held in the arm of someone, who will say, I love you child, I am going to take care of you.
May the Almighty God bless you in all your endeavor as you continue to help the less fortunate in our society?

I am pleased to say a big thanks to Relief, Inc. through the “WOW” sponsorship program for given me a knowledge in computer training. This is the first time in my life for an org working in Liberia to give me this kind of opportunity. Today I have become a part of the working force in Liberia since the computer training through which I have received. I have become an asset to my country, Liberia. Thanks again to Relief, Inc. “WOW” sponsorship program. I pray that you help someone else to become an asset to our beloved country, Liberia.
My name is Kwame Emmanuel Ross, i am Executive Director for Liberia Center for Labor Empowerment (LICLE). i use to work for the students of Liberia where i serve as President of the Liberia National Students Union (LINSU) ,the umbrella organization responsible for students in Liberia, it was at that moment i first came across the Relief Inc, on our landscape through its representative -Aloysius Barr. Relief inc, has gone deep into the lowest base of our society paying special attention to the neglected class which constitutes the orphans and women. before i became to work for the Government of Liberia as Assistant Minister for the Ministry of Planning & Economic Affairs, i can recall that Relief Inc, started as small seed in Liberian making small donations of food and nonfood items, but i can testify now that Relief has grown bigger in Liberia like a giant size tree in the forest that provides shelter for many.
With the multiple socio-economic problems that were imposed on us from the 14years of civil unrest, Relief has been very strategic in meeting the needs of the people of Liberia. the absence of food ,shelter and clothing compounded the complication our war torn country which made it appeal compelling for international organization like Relief to give practical attention. Relief interventions have been very critical and timely in addressing the nakedness, homelessness and hunger of our people in Liberia particularly women and children. Relief medical intervention during the period of EBOLA kept the heads of our people above the water of sickness and provided light of hope for those who were pressed under the shadow of death by Ebola. You provided books for students sitting in empty school building and meal for children left home hungry in search for education whose parent can barley afford a daily meal. your work will go a long way in history.
It is my prayer that many will pull resources and join Relief INC, in this struggle to ensure food, clothing, medication and other non food items are available, affordable, accessible, reachable and safe by making meaningful contribution for war affected nation weigh down by poverty. You will always be remembereded for the amount of lives you transform. MAY GOD BLESS RELIEF INC BOUNTIFULLY TO MEET THE NEEDS OF SUFFERING HUMANITY
i have volunteered for Relief Inc for the past seven years and found it most rewarding. And through those years Relief have been assisting Liberians girls, boys, women and men in health, education and donating relief items to old folks and the needy.
The WOW component has help more women in getting back on their feet in their various home not being just house wife but income provider.
It is through Relief Inc. that I got to understand the importance of volunteerism in it entirety. I am very proud to be a volunteer of Relief Inc because their ways of implementing project activities is so unique, visible and transparent.

It is sadly surprising how little we really know about what is going on in other parts of the world. I spent a great amount of time speaking with Phebe Dennis-Fortt about Relief, Inc and the work they do in Liberia. Then I saw the photos of the children so excited to receive their first book and their first writing tools and the pure joy and excitement on their faces just made my heart warm beyond belief. Then to see the hospitals they helped set up during the Ebola crisis, it really brings it all home to see it first hand in the photos. The work Relief, Inc. is doing not only in Liberia but also locally is so amazing and commendable. The world is a better place having Relief, Inc and the work they do.
I am Rev. E B Mcmillan McCauley and I have known Phebe Dennis-Fortt and her husband for over 12 years. When I first encountered these two beautiful individuals, I was at my lowest in life. I was practically homeless and jobless and they were gracious enough to accept me into their home without any reservations. Mr. Fortt, was kind enough to secure me a job at the establishment where he worked and he extended his kindness by getting me my first car in California. When news concerning starving children in Liberia reached them, they quickly embraced the responsibility of sending humanitarian aids to help those needed children. They have opened themselves in search a way that is beyond measure. Currently, many children are in school because of their generosity. I pray that God will enlarging their boarders so that, they can go beyond the walls of Monrovia into the rural areas where the needs are even greater. Kindly keep them within the confines of your prayers.
I am Rev. Caleb S. G. Dormah, National Director, YouthConnect Liberia. Relief, Inc and YouthConnect Liberia have a partnership that is going beyond the Ebola era. We were partners in fighting the deadly Ebola Virus in Liberia when others were afraid. Today we are setting the pace for post Ebola recovery affected families (Orphans) and communities. we putting smiles on the faces of our children thru our "Building Library" project and giving communities hope thru our economic Empowering projects. We are changing a nation ONE COMMUNITY AT A TIME.
I came to know the founder of relief ink Inc. several years ago in her endeavor to start this nonprofit organization she has been consistent she has been passionate and she definitely has a desire to see the people in Liberia have a quality-of-life that equals all of us in the United States.
Hi my name is Grace. I have watched my sister work closely with Relief, Inc. as a volunteer. I like seeing how she has grown in her abilities, and has strengthened her involvement within the community.
Seeing her get involved made me want to get involved. In the past I donated to Relief, Inc's clothes drive that was hosted at Solano community college. Next year I am planning to help by being apart of future fundraisers.
Greetings, I am Rev. Dr. Darius O. Crosby, Senior Pastor of Greater Glory Community Church of Modesto, California and President/CEO of Staff Of Life Ministries of Stanislaus County.
This note is intended to substantiate the fact that the non-profit, Relief Inc. is a vital asset, not only to the Modesto Community in which it is based, but to the world at-large. The attention this organization has given to the deadly Ebola virus affecting multiple countries in West Africa is a leadership role which epitomizes Relief Inc.
The efforts of this non-profit have put feet on the word LOVE, and brought it to the hearts of those in need, both domestic and foreign. Like the Good Samaritan, Relief Inc. determined that HUMANITY is suffering, and Relief Inc. has refused to pass by on the other side.
I have attended and supported several events formulated by Relief Inc. and witnessed the selfless efforts of this wonderful organization. They have certainly chimed in on the motto of my heart: they believe in "Serving God by Serving People."
Finally, Relief Inc. was recently nominated among more than 200 individuals and organizations, for the 21st Annual CrystalClear Award For Outstanding Community Service in Stanislaus County--selections to begin at the top of the new year.

Staff Of Life-
As the computer specialist for Relief Inc. I have had the pleasure working with the organization on several occasions. I have always found the professionalism, care and compassion of the staff refreshing and genuine. I believe Relief Inc. sincerely cares about what they are doing helping the people of Liberia. There is care and compassion with every conversation.
Relief Inc is a great example of how a caring few can impact the lives of so many in need of the basic necessities of life. Over the past 7 years I have keenly followed the steadfastness and sacrifice of Mrs. Phebe Fortt and her organization as they, against overwhelming odds and uncertainties, identified areas of needs in impoverished communities in the West African state of Liberia, rally donations in funds and materials and galvanize volunteer to participate in the process of getting the relief items to Africa. I am particularly inspired by Mrs. Fortt's fortitude in ensuring that the relief items reached their beneficiaries even when the government of Liberia would lay huddles along the way. So many in Liberia admire the charity of the American people and have a profound gratitude for America because of the work Relief Inc has done and continue to do in Liberia.

Relief Inc. is an incredible organization that I feel honored to serve as a volunteer. My family has volunteered for Relief Inc. for some time now and can't say enough great things about the people and guests they serve. For us, however, what really sets Relief Inc. apart is the way in which volunteers are able to be involved. Every time we go, we bring people along, who then thank us again and again for introducing them to such an incredible experience. I highly recommend Relief Inc. and I salute their efforts!!
Hello! My name is Joanne and I was the Social Media Intern for Relief, Inc. over the summer. Phebe Fortt is a wonderful and inspiring person to work with. Even though I did not have any previous professional experience in the marketing field, she was very patient and understanding with me. It was wonderful being able to witness the impact this organization has created in the community. It really shows how hard work and dedication pays off in the end no matter how small your actions may seem. During my time as an intern, I learned about the history of Liberia and the hardships endured within the country. I also learned about the courage and bravery of the Liberian citizens. I really hope in the future I will be able to continue working with this organization. It has been a fulfilling and enriching experience.

Hello my name is Renee, I volunteer with Relief Inc. It has been such a rewarding, meaningful, and full of just learning new things. With Relief Inc. you see there is beauty in this world where it has been fading in today's atmosphere. You put on the news or listen to the radio station and all you hear is crime, poverty and disgrace. Phebe has such a heart filled eye on change it little by little. It is a great place to volunteer and make a difference.
Phebe followed the collected containers over to Liberia, designating storage and giving out where what was needed & people to help pass out books, clothes, necessities. A whole lot of time & work involved even in getting the containers together for shipping. She needs your support, donations, bucks, prayers & to get the word out for Liberia Relief Inc. Thank You so much.
