Volunteering Oportunities

Nonprofit Overview

Causes: Mental Health, Substance Abuse Prevention

Mission: Our aim is to provide women who are in early recovery from addiction a rich environment in order to cultivate a new life for themselves. We want to give women the opportunity to work into their lives the ingredients for a successful recovery. We believe that in order for our residents to establish strong roots for lifelong sobriety, certain characteristics need to be developed and maintained: honesty, open-mindedness and willingness.

This program help saved my life. Being a spiritually based recovery home it was just what I needed at one of the lowest parts of my life . I learned a new way of life and how to be a part of a family again. IT IS BECAUSE OF the DoDaaw Ranch that my relationship has grown with God. That in turned has made me a productive member of society, clean and sober 3 years, a good mom, a good student, and able to now give back to this amazing program.

The DoDaaw Ranch is different than any other clean and sober home that I've encountered. I have struggled with addiction and through the grace of God, have almost 5 years clean and sober. During my time clean, I have come into contact with many clean and sober houses through hanging out with different clean friends. There are none quite like the DoDaaw Ranch. It is more of a home to reshape your life rather than a business designed to make money like a lot of the other houses I have encountered. I am really glad Jessica introduced me to the DoDaaw family; in doing so, I have gained a new family myself.

Being a client of the DoDaaw Ranch I am learning a new learning of life. Through the DoDaaw Ranch and the amazing women who walk by your side on this new journey you realize even through the toughest times you through anything is possible. They not only show up for you but they do it with understanding, love, kindness and gentleness. Im able to not only stay sober but do everyday life on life terms. This is definitely a spiritual place but the do not force or push religion or God onto you. I have found God in my journey and I am blessed. I not only stay sober but my relationship with my kids have grown and I get so much more time with them. I love this environment and the path God has put me on for my sobriety. The biggest blessing for me is that women who have gone through DoDaaw Ranch come back and volunteer their time and share their experience and walk that journey with you. I love the DoDaaw ranch and encourage many women struggling with addiction should join the family at the DoDaaw Ranch.

As the Executive Director of the DoDaaw Ranch I have been given the opportunity to sow into the lives of the women GOD has placed in our path. It has been a blessing beyond my wildest dreams. As women come through our doors I am given a birds eye view the power of GOD's love for his daughters. The transformations are breathtaking. Watching the women transcend a life of addiction is the most powerful experience one can have. Many of our women come back to sow into the lives of the new women coming in, freely giving what they have received. And, many of those same women have gone on to further their education and bring not only practical experience but the education to go with it. This empowers them to help the women navigate the trauma experienced in Alcohol and Drug Addiction. I can not say enough about the life changing work that is done in this beautiful. We are truly blessed and highly favored of GOD.

Over the course of the seven years that I have lived here, I have gained knowledge and wisdom, and a new perspective on life. Not only did I gain friends but I gained family that will last a lifetime. I was able to grow and be successful in the life that I'm building for myself, clear headed, stable, and sober.
