Mission: Our mission as part of a catholic health care system is to further the healing ministry of jesus by continually improving the health and well-being of all people, especially the poor, in the communities we serve.
Programs: St. Vincent fishers hospital (svfh) is a 46-bed, acute care hospital serving rural hamilton and contiguous counties and providing services without regard to patient race, creed, national origin, economic status, or ability to pay. Svfh provides inpatient and outpatient health care services with a 24 hour emergency department that is staffed with an on-site physician. During fiscal year 2017, svfh treated 1,277 adults and children for a total of 3,218 patient days of service. The hospital also provided services for 55,932 outpatient visits, including 1,915 outpatient surgeries and 54,017 emergency room and minor care visits. St. Vincent fishers hospital provides the following hospital services: inpatient acute care, surgery, emergency services, ob/gyn services, imaging services, rehabilitation services, respiratory services, sleep disorders, sports performance, diagnostic cardiovascular, laboratory, maternity services, hematology/oncology infusion, and pediatric specialty care. Some of these services operate at a loss in order to ensure that comprehensive services are available to the community.
