Mission: Our mission as part of a catholic health care system is to further the healing ministry of jesus by continually improving the health and well-being of all people, especially the poor, in the communities we serve.
Programs: St. Vincent dunn hospital (svdh) is a 25-bed, critical access hospital serving rural dunn and contiguous counties and providing services without regard to patient race, creed, national origin, economic status, or ability to pay. Svdh provides inpatient and outpatient health care services with a 24 hour emergency department that is staffed with an on-site physician. During fiscal year 2017, svdh treated 731 adults and children for a total of 2,436 patient days of service. The hospital also provided services for 29,677 outpatient visits, including 704 outpatient surgeries and 28,973 emergency room and minor care visits. St. Vincent dunn hospital provides the following hospital services: cardiovascular services, children's health, diabetes care, digestive health, emergency care, home care, immediate care, maternity services, medical imaging, orthopedics, rehabilitation services, respiratory care, sports performance, surgery, and women's health. Some of these services operate at a loss in order to ensure that comprehensive services are available to the community.
