Programs: St. Vincent anderson regional hospital is a 225-bed facility, serving madison and contiguous counties and providing services without regard to patient race, creed, national origin, economic status, or ability to pay. During fiscal year 2017, svarh treated 6,309 adults and children for a total of 34,549 patient days of service. The hospital also provided services for 181,982 outpatient visits, including 10,403 outpatient surgeries and 171,579 emergency room and minor care visits. St. Vincent anderson regional hospital provides inpatient and outpatient health care services that include: cancer care, cardiovascular services, digestive health, emergency care, immediate care, maternity services, medical imaging, mental and behavioral health, neurology, orthopedics, outpatient services, rehabilitation services, respiratory care, surgery, wellness medicine, women's health and wound treatment. Some of these services operate at a loss in order to ensure that comprehensive services are available to the community.
