Mission: To research, develop and advance public policies that enhance economic growth and opportunity for all residents of missouri.
Programs: The show-me institute commissioned and published six studies by scholars, and staff of the institute researched and wrote eleven studies, forty-four (44) commentaries and 372 blog posts, related to various topics including education, states taxes, and missouri's economic growth. The studies were made available to the public in print form, commentaries were published in newspapers, and all studies, commentaries and blog posts are made available to the public online.
throughout missouri, the show-me institute hosted lectures and seminars, participated in public events, and appeared in numerous media outlets, i. E. , radio and television, to present its research findings to local and state nonprofit, legislative, media, and citizen groups. With respect to lectures and seminars, the institute co-sponsored six (6) lectures by scholars-two (2) in kansas city and three (3) in st. Louis, and sponsored five (5) breakfast forums in columbia and five (5) in saint louis.
