Mission: Dedicated to impacting lives in a lasting way by promoting christian values, sharing experiences and providing opportunities to encourage everyone that all things are possible when people seek to put "first things first" with projects such as trips to disney world for ill children and their families, building recreation centers in children's hospitals, rewarding single parents as they achieve the dream of home ownership, encouraging inclusion in school for special education students and more. All projects primarily target children and families in greater phoenix, st. Louis and iowa and are centered on the warners' life theme of putting faith and family first.
Programs: Home for the holidays - together with arron's, amway, r&s mattress, albertsons and u-haul, the foundation rewards single mothers or fathers, who have met certain qualifications by turning a house into a home with new furnishings as a surprise for first-time homeowners. This program took place in st. Louis and arizona in 2016. Cheer (consciouness helps encourage equal respect) is a school based program designed to encourage inclusion and open the eyes of students to see their fellow special education peers as more than their disability. The week long program invites student volunteers (cheer leaders) to adopt a disability for a day such as using a wheelchair or wearing visual impairment goggles. The participating schools also organize events and offer information throughout the week to help raise awareness about those living with disabilities. Arete arete (pronounced air-eh-tay) is a mentor program of the first things first foundation. The term can best be defined as excellence of any kind; the act of living up to one's full potential; courage and strength in the face of adversity. Kurt and brenda hope to instill those principles in a small group of high school age kids they are mentoring from sunshine acres in mesa, arizona. The program centers on colossians 3:23, "whatever you do, do it with all your heart, as if working for the lord. " each month kurt and brenda meet with the mentees as they build relationships, stretch their comfort zones and focus on key areas for successful living including social counseling, education, community service, financial guidance, spiritual nurturing, health and fitness. The ticket program honors veterans with tickets to monday night football. The program hosts military veterans and their families from folds of honor at the games and provides them an insider look at the broadcast booth. The organization also provides charitable donations to other organizations.

Dear foundation, I am writing this review in hopes and prayer that someone can help. I am writing this for my mother who is a single mother who has been a single funominal hard working women since I can remember, my mom never had the luck to grow old with anyone but with what she dealt with in her life I wouldn't blame her why she decided to stay single. My mother has worked all her life since she was 14yrs old started out in the the fields and has managed to get her CNA license, she bought her home back in 1993 and has worked hard to pay it off all on her own, never has applied for any type of assistance up until now only because I'm here helping her out and have notice many things wrong in this old house. Ive helped her apply for differenet programs that I've read about but all three of them has turned us down. First program stated there's was no more funds second program stated that the house is not worth with what they would have to put into it, Third program only helped with outside of the home and we still applied for it cause anything would help but we still haven't heard anything inreference to that program. You see we just haven't had any luck but I will not stop because my mom is getting old and is showing me signs of Alzheimer's and I will continue to pray for a miracle and hope she will retire happy and not have to worry about her house catching on fire because of the old electrical wiring or getting sick cause of the mold that's behind the walls or the gas pipes breaking cause they sit outside the walls not inside. You see we know that this house needs a lot of work but I'm willing to work my hardest to help with this transition my mom deserves this and a lot more. Thanks so much for hearing me out and I would like to make a promise to your foundation I'm a Lotty player and if I ever win the jackpot I will donate to this foundation cause I know how it is in this world and nothing is easy, God Bless you guys and thanks for hearing me out.
