Programs: Sherman west court (swc) is a not-for-profit organization which specializes in rehabilitation and long-term care in the fox valley area. Swc is a leading provider in short term rehabilitation. Swc focuses on bringing people back to the community with their previous level of function. Swc treats people in the workforce as well as the elderly population, and its services are open to all members of the community. During the 2016 year swc served over 940 patients, with 98% returning to the community with functional abilities. Swc additionally provided free community events that educate the public on health concerns such as stroke awareness, total joint classes, community car show with teaching regarding services of care, and triad senior picnic with community services available for teaching. Swc provided $47,000 in charity care to individuals who have no means of paying for healthcare services. Swc also provided 25,454 total patient days of care. Swc is also very involved in education with nursing, therapy and dietary areas throughout the year. Many students are able to learn and grow in a rehabilitation environment.
