Programs: Partnership with medical ministries missions of guatemala to serve the underresourced in guatemala with 7 medical clinics, evangelism and training. A total of 26 volunteers assisted the guatemalan doctors. 379 adults and children were seen by the doctors and approximately 28 people made decisions to become followers of jesus christ. Children at the clinics were hosted in children programs. Team members also volunteered at the orphanage casa alleluia and provided toys and school supplies.
partnership with apache youth mission in whiteriver indian reservation. A volunteer team of 5 individuals assisted with the ministry to youth on the apache reservation. The team provided encouragement, insruction and assistance with food preparation for approximately 200 people for various ministry opportunities. The team provided pastoral care, team building, counseling and encouragement for the staff of aym. The team assisted with 18 students for a field trip activity and with after school instruction.
partnership with bible gateway church and children justice initiative of uganda to serve the underresourced children in kampala by assisting in support for the school hiring of teachers and providing supplies.
partnership with casa alleluia orphange in guatemala city. Volunteers assisted with construction of an open air feeding center in a local village. They also assisted with preparation of a new baby room in the orphanage including clean out, painting and set up of beds. Two bible studies were taught to 22 college age girls as well as provided leadership during worship times. Additionally, ballet classes were taught for approximately 135 children. Counseling sessions were also provided for one of the leadership families.
partnership with mana da vida school in escuintla, guatemala. Three interns spent the summer assisting the school which serves over 250 of the poorest children in escuintla. The interns taught english for pre-k through 12th grade. They also taught the children music, dance and personal hygiene. Additionally they assisted in a heatlh clinic for the students.
