Mission: An inclusive poverty alleviation program welcoming women, most of whom are mothers, regardless of education, criminal background, or housing status. Paid job training in safe environments and life skills empowers them to move out of chronic destructive lifestyles.
Programs: Second chances is a career development program that provides training opportunities for single mother and women to break the poverty cycle and develop career and life skills. Through intensive paid on the job training we educate and empower woman to overcome the obstacles as previously stated in their lives along with achieving a ged and finding safe housing, if necessary to eventually obtaining self-sufficiency. Second chances provides janitorial services for various clients in the denver metro area. Through these programs, second chances is able to provide jobs and life skills to the women they serve.
