Causes: Arts & Culture, Performing Arts Centers
Mission: Making performances and arts education in the pacific northwest enriching, while keeping seattle's historic paramount, moore and neptune theatres healthy and vibrant.
Programs: Seattle theatre group (stg) presents local, regional, national, and international performances. During the fiscal period ended 8/31/17, stg presented 597 performances with over 716,854 in attendance. Events included live theatrical music and dance performances such as concerts, broadway style productions, dance and films. Stg preserves and maintains three historic theatres. Stg's education and community engagement division offered educational programs for over 55,450 community participants. These programs include school residences, master classes, workshops, tours, young artist training and performance opportunities, historic theatre tours, with subsidized tickets providing access and benefiting young artists, disadvantaged, undeserved youth and the community in general.
