Causes: Arts & Culture, Symphony Orchestras
Mission: To create intimate, inspirational musical experiences by engaging the community through vibrant music making by the chamber orchestra and chamber ensembles.
Programs: Provide orchestra concerts to the general public and promote awareness and appreciation for the musical arts. Our regular concert season consists of 10 performances.
nevada chamber music festival: the annual festival features eleven unique concerts showcasing world class musicians and the best in classical music, culminating with a new years day celebration. There is no other festival of this kind during the holidays in the world. The festival concerts feature soloists and small ensembles including many of the world's most renowed classical musicians.
college concerto competition: the reno chamber orchestra is devoted to the encouragment of high proficiency in musical performance among student musicians. To this end, the orchestra has established and maintains an annual competition for college-level instrumentalists, and awards prizes to contest winners.
