As a patron of the arts and a supporter of non profit arts agencies, it is amazing to me what Art Town is able to provide to the residents of Northern Nevada - an opportunity for every one to participate in high quality aesthetic experiences for little to no cost. I am not sure how they do it, but it is amazing.

Mission: Artown's mission is to strengthen Reno's arts industry, enhance our civic identity and national image, thereby creating a climate for the cultural and economic rebirth of our region.
Direct beneficiaries per year: Each year more than 300,000 attendees get to experience the arts at more than 400 events, 60 percent free.
Geographic areas served: Serving northern Nevada centering on Reno, Nev.
Programs: Artown's programs include Discover the Arts, Family Series, World Music Series, Monday Night Music Series and Movies in the Park, just to name a few.
