Mission: Reach's performing experiences and collaborative work with outside artists including composers, visual artists, writers, vocalists, and dancers in wheelchairs, lead to the formation of a successful and innovative not-for-profit 501(c)(3) dance theatre company in 1999. Each member of the company has the equal opportunity to teach, direct, choreograph, and perform, allowing individual growth which in turn strengthens the whole group. Reach sees art as an unspoken language--a form of communication of human experience. Dance provides a mirror for society and ourselves using the body as the canvas. Through movement we cross the boundaries of the stage into the lives of the community.
