Mission: Nutritional, transportation and activity programs for senior citizens of the boerne, texs area.
Programs: Nutrition project: the center provides nutritious meals to senior citizens of the boerne, tx area. Meals are provided both on-site and at home through "meals on wheels" deliveries monday-friday. A suggested donation is requested for meals provided. The nutrition program received funding from local, state and federal agencies. Approximately 550 were served through the on-site congregate meal and meals on wheels programs.
transportation: to provide local transportation for homebound senior citizens in the boerne, tx area. Vans take members to and from the senior center and on local errands in town. The program received funding from governmental sources. Approximately 35 seniors were served through this program in the last year.
activity programs: the center provides games, programs, exercise, etc. To members monday - friday from 10am until 2pm. No public funding is received for this program. Approximately 600 seniors were served through this program last year.
