The Pink Berets continues to be a blessing to women veterans like myself. This year I joined them on their social cruise where I reconnected with my sisters-in-arms and had a GREAT time traveling with them. I also attended their Women Warriors on Water Fishing Retreat where I went wade fishing for the first time. Not only did the retreat provide an opportunity to connect with my sisters, a peaceful environment to connect with nature and heal, but learning a new skill gave me a boost of confidence.
The Pink Berets provides so much for women veterans, and I cannot recommend them enough!

I will never forget the first time I crossed the threshold of The Pink Berets. For so many of us women veterans, we spend our entire military career trying to assimilate into a male dominated career field. Then, when we get out, we struggle to find our place among our civilian counterparts. The Pink Berets has not only been a place where I have found healing for my PTSD, but has also been a home for my heart, amongst my sisters... a place where I belong and I can be myself.
The Pink Berets, run by Stephanie Gattas, has not only saved my life but empowered me to help others change their stories for the better. I met Stephanie Gattas when she hired me to speak at a 5K to honor the life of Vanessa Guillen. At that time, Stephanie recognized the work I do to help combat sexual assault in our military and invited me to participate with the team in legislative advocacy. I have attended many events that are put on by TPB which includes tears, healing and lives saved! What's more, Stephanie treats her all volunteer team like VIPs. She never fails to recognize our efforts and many members have stepped in to volunteer due to the positive environment created by Stephanie. I have personally witnessed as she put safeguards around her organization in order to ensure survivors are protected and to fight against the further exploitation of those who come to us for help.
The Pink Berets offer services at no cost to women veterans. From equine therapy to other recreational therapies like Archery as well as cooking classes, The Pink Berets build community through bonding activities.
I reached out to The Pink Berets in 2022 after really struggling with the daily effects of PTSD and feeling alone. As a woman Veteran I didn’t know such support existed! I was able to attend a therapeutic retreat, and is sparked the beginning of a healing journey that I never thought I’d have to courage to start! I was able to participate the Pink Beret Archery Program, I have found a community of acceptance and love with my sisters in Arms. ❤️
The Pink Berets have been very generous in donating to foster kids in need. They go above and beyond to ensure our foster kids have everything they need!
As a volunteer with The Pink Berets I have seen the impact they have with the veterans. They do so much for their community, and for anyone who comes to them for help. They never turn people away, if they can't help directly they will connect you with their community partners who can help and make sure that you get taken care of. Many of the volunteers I work with are participants who are so grateful that they volunteer their time to give back to The Pink Berets which is a true testament to the healing and camaraderie you'll find with this organization.
Pink berets is a great organization which has collaborated on several occasions to make a difference in lives of veterans and their families
This organization is doing amazing work with our veterans. By providing alternative outlets and safe places for them. If you have not attended a fundraiser event or donated I challenge you to be apart of the change.
As a volunteer the Pink Berets are amazing! They’re very thoughtful and helpful within the community. They are amazing leaders! I appreciate Stephanie because she is always checking in on me when I am helping them out.
Authentic and genuine organization. I came to this organization looking for healing through comrade and found it! This is an all volunteer program that offers support through therapy, policy change and advocacy. I couldn’t recommend a more powerful organization.
Year after year, The Pink Berets continues to support women military, veterans and first responders. Year after year, women share their stories, begin their healing journeys, and find a sisterhood where they belong. Year after year, The Pink Berets continues to offer programs that bring healing, empower women, and help them recover from their invisible injuries.
I am honored to be a part of such an amazing organization.
I cannot even begin to express the level of gratitude I have for this organization. I have been with them for several years now and they continue to grow and support all veterans, especially and mainly our female veterans. The multiple programs, events, and retreats offer so much support and resources as well as being a complete blast! Love this organization and everyone in it so much and I am very grateful for them.

I can't even count the amazing memories this organization has provided me through the past couple of years. I've made lifelong connections with amazing women warriors, made incredible once in a lifetime memories at the retreats they put on, learned tools and resources for growth and healing, and there is no doubt in my mind that everyone in the Pink Berets would have my back if I ever needed it. This is one of the most incredible organizations I've ever been involved with and I love them!
Signed up for an MST/PTSD virtual event. No contact person given. Tried to reach out multiple times to get into the virtual event through their website, Q&A's, and SM- no responses. All of my contact information was given and no one reached out to me either. Considering how much of a vulnerable step this was very very messed up.
The Pink Berets empowers women to further develop spiritually, personally, and professionally. We are valued and allowed to have our own voice in a safe environment that encourages vulnerability. We are supported wholeheartedly by a staff of amazing leaders who provide resources to help us overcome challenges. Thank you for making a difference in our lives!
I recently participated in the Pink Berets Catalyst Retreat. The Pink Berets organization not only executed an amazing retreat but their authenticity, compassion and empathy was extraordinary. They created an space space environment for the participants. I would highly recommend this organization to women veterans who are in search of healing and connection.
The Pink Berets is an amazing organization that offers support to women veterans no matter when or how long you served! I was introduced to this organization when trying to overcome a recent crisis. I had the pleasure and honor attending the Pink Berets first ever Catalyst Retreat. Stephanie and her team organized an event that was thoughtfully plan, detailed to suit the needs of all attendees and focused on healing and relaxation. My experience with the horses will not soon be forgotten. This is the first and only event I have attended with the Pink Berets but I cannot wait to participate in future events and support them as they work so hard to provide support to women veterans! Thank uou
I have volunteered with The Pink Berets for a couple of years. Each time I volunteer, I see the impact this organization has on the women it serves. The Pink Berets are changing lives, and I am honored and grateful that I get to be a part of that.
August 2021, I had the privilege to attend Women Warriors on Water Fishing Retreat. It is there that I met many beautiful Sisters in Arms!! I was overwhelmed with mixed emotions that are indescribable. I have discovered a group of women who possess the same love of our country as I do. I am proud to have been accepted by this new sorority of Female Veterans!!!
Absolutely amazing organization!! Having participated in the culinary program, equine, peer counseling, MST Group and art programs has been immensely beneficial!!! The support from The Pink Berets during the 76 Mile Run for Change was like nothing I could’ve imagined. Gaining so much from them and love this community of women veterans⚓️⚓️

The Pink Berets have supported at risk youth in our community. The activities I have participated in and heard about from other participants are always positive and impactful. Love my Pink Berets Family
This organization has helped me in numerous ways. I’ve had the opportunity to apply for multiple programs including Equine Therapy with Ms. Margaret and Denise. The ability to look beyond my own issues and move forward with the positive outlook I’m being taught to rebuild is worth a testimonial of my experience. I hope for other women to trust their intentions. Their team including Dr. Abney are ready to support your journey.
Prior to the existence of The Pink Berets, I was asked by our now CEO Stephanie Gattas, if I felt there was a need for such a organization? My answer to her was an empathetic "Yes! Absolutely. There is a huge need for such an organization geared to our women veterans!"
As a 27 year female Air Force veteran who is still currently serving, I have seen first-hand that our female veterans are dealing with PTSD, MST, TBI and other issues. I see that we have needed and will continue to need the services offered by the Pink Berets. As a member, I know this organization can help with special programs tailored to fit the needs of our women. I personally deal with PTSD and have experienced MS, so it is a reality. However, with The Pink Berets and the programs offered, no one has to suffer silently!
There are not very many organizations for woman, but as our numbers grow, the Pink Berets has forged a path of support to our gals who serve and have served! One of the most important points to be aware of is that all of our services are offered at no cost to the veteran!
I am honored and proud to sit on the Board of such an amazing organization as the Pink Berets. I am humbled at how much energy, work, planning and selflessness is dedicated to the Pink Berets on a daily basis by the volunteers.
The Pink Berets are not only providing help via individual and group therapy, but we also have equine therapy, cooking therapy, offer healing retreats and various other phenomenal programs geared towards healing and recovery. There are also programs such a "Troops to Suits," in which we are providing skills and education to help our women help themselves and their families. Again, cost is not an issue, and no one will be turned away!
The best and most amazing thing is that our organization is made up of selfless volunteers who have the desire and empathy to provide help, aid, and relief to our women veterans who can heal, grow and benefit from our programs. Our volunteers are truly making a difference.
I highly recommend the Pink Berets to your female veteran family and friends who may need help and healing! Please visit our website,

I fully support this organization and it’s mission. The work they are doing for the female veterans and first responders, as well as their families, is truly admirable. This organization is unlike anything I’ve ever seen before and I look forward to providing my support for many years to come.
I’ve seen first hand the positive impact this organization has had on its participants. In offering the variety of therapeutic options that they offer, you can really see the difference it makes in the lives of those who come thru the organization. The difference is night and day. I truly believe in the mission of this organization and am proud to be a part of it.
The Pink Berets is an exceptional nonprofit tackling a very large need. Women in the military face the same challenges as their fellow military men do, but often internalize it differently. TPB recognizes the need to counsel and support the unique needs of our military women. Stephanie, the founder and CEO, is able to apply her own military experiences through her passion in helping her fellow comrades, helping these women to transition back into life, to be the best women they can be.
My experience with the Pink Berets was truly inspirational. I attended their Women Warriors on water event. It was a chance to experience a fishing expedition with my fellow veteran sisters that I normally would not have had the chance to do. I look forward to attending many other events that The Pink Berets will host in the future.
