Causes: Counseling, Mental Health
Mission: To provide queer-informed counseling services, community programming, and educational trainings to promote the internal wellness and social connectivity to queer and trans people.
Programs: Counseling services-queer asterisk served over a hundred clients, ages 4 to 65 with therapy/mental health services.
community programs-our programs are developed to create inclusive, transformative spaces for queer and trans folks to gather. There are 6 programs that meet on a weekly or biweekly basis.
education-our educational team trains professional to be equipped to create environments of physical and emotional safety for queer and transgender people. In 2017, queer asterisk trained at 10 organizations.
