I first heard about this non-profit through a close friend. The idea they have come up with is brilliant. It is a win win for everyone involved. Reduction in waste and getting supplies where they're needed. I'm so glad they have found a way to get this done and I absolutely love hearing about who they're helping. Just an outstanding non-profit.
Project Vets included "Sava's Safe Haven" in their Recipient Organizations in 2015.
Since then, we received many box full of medical aid for our Animal Shelter in Galati, Romania.
All items was a great help in our mission to save animals and offer them most needed veterinary care.
Thank you very much!
Project V.E.T.S. translates donations into action. This organization helps wild animals and companion animals all over the world, from non-profit organizations in the US and a far, bringing their caregivers the tools to treat these animals.
My husband and I donate to Project V.E.T.S annually because we know that they will use the funds wisely and for the animals.

The volunteers and staff at Project V.E.T.s are completely dedicated to their mission of helping non-profit animal clinics both nationally and internationally. Volunteering with them is both rewarding and fun. Furthermore, my husband and I feel that our financial donations to Project V.E.T.s are spent wisely.
Project V.E.T.S. partnered with Clean Futures Fund on the Dogs of Chernobyl program and helped provided equipment for a high-quality, high-volume spay and neuter clinic at the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Not only were they great partners, they were also great advocates for our activities.

Congratulations on all your accomplishments, Clean Futures Fund! You've gone above and beyond for the Dogs of Chernobyl and we're honored to be part of it in our small way. Thank you!
We are a very small nonprofit, Wild Once More (www.facebook.com/wildoncemore) that rehabilitates orphaned and injured wild animals and returns them to the wild. Project V.E.T.S has been a godsend! Highly organized, great people, and we've gotten so many supplies including things such as a microscope that were desperately needed but we could never have afforded on our small budget. Thank goodness for this amazing nonprofit, and a shout-out to Marcy--she's incredible to work with!

What I love about Project V.E.T.S. is the uniqueness of what they have to offer, and how much it helps. Materials that would be otherwise wasted are going around the world to help animals in need. It is the best possible way to "recycle"! They also have a very dedicated staff whose love for animals and desire to help is clear to anyone who interacts with them.
Project V.E.T.S. continues to exceed expectations by reaching more non-profits worldwide that are all helping animals in their own ways. More supplies are shipped out each and every year and more and more groups are able to use these supplies in their treatment of animals large and small. I love that such a simple idea has expanded to help so many animals in so many different parts of the world.
Having worked in a small Thai animal sanctuary I know how fundamental organisations such as Project VETS can be. A lifeline and essential for helping animals with no other hope.
Project VETS has been a godsend to several primate sanctuaries I have helped out with veterinary work -- the donated supplies were essential in providing veterinary care in remote areas where it was otherwise difficult to find supplies. In addition, companion animal hospitals I worked at in the US were so glad to have a quality organization to which they could donate supplies or equipment that they no longer needed but which was in good shape. Such a great organization!
It has been eight years since Project V.E.T.S. first started securing equipment and supplies for veterinarians working in animal related non-profits. In that time, the number of organizations we help support has grown to 90 and they can be found in 50 different countries, including the U.S.. The impact on animal health and welfare is huge! As is the impact on our planet, keeping valuable medical resources out of landfills and instead placing them into the hands of those individuals making a difference in grass roots organizations around the globe. This is an incredible organization and I am proud to be on the board!

I am the Founder of Project V.E.T.S. and, although I am sure I am biased, I am constantly amazed and humbled by how much we have grown in seven years. We continue to reach out and partner with animal related non-profits, helping provide them with valuable veterinary equipment, technology and supplies. We currently partner with 78 organizations in 43 countries. I am so proud of our staff, board of directors, volunteers and donors! Each and every one of us makes a difference and together we are healing the planet one animal at a time!
Project vets is an awesome non-profit, they fill a crucial need and hope to work with them many more times in the future! One of the leanest non-profits I have come across too!
I am a nurse and have donated car loads of medical supplies to this awesome nonprofit. I had the amazing opportunity to see their equipment in use with the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project in Rwanda and Uganda many years ago. They support a wide variety of animal programs all over the world and are my favorite non-profit to support
Project V.E.T.S. Is an organization with great heart dedicated with love for animals and respect for the earth. They do amazing work, making the world a better place for animals and those dedicated to their care. Saving landfills is a big plus!

Dr.. Candy Sayles Brad started with an idea for helping animals around the world while simultaneously helping to reduce waste of veterinary medical supplies. She and her board have worked tirelessly to make this vision into reality. Just take a look at their web site to see how far they have reached animals across the globe. Not able to donate equipment or supplies? They also appreciate cash donations so they can cover their shipping costs! I give them a 5* rating because their hearts have 5* passion for what they do.
We in Africa, greatly benefit from Project Vets and we would not be able to serve the animals or the poor communities as well as we have managed with the support from project vets. Thanks Project Vets for the all the support to All Creatures Animal Welfare League in Malawi
I was introduced to PV, attended a fund raiser and immediately was working to figure out a way to partner with them and line them up with other partners. It is such a good and authentic cause. Whether your passion is with the animals, saving our planet or the people helped, it is a fantastic cause. I worked with Meghan Curtis who is a joy.
Having spent my professional career working in the healthcare field, I know the amount of equipment and supplies that quickly becomes outdated is huge. There's always new technology that comes along and makes things obsolete while the piece of equipment is still serviceable and useful. It makes good sense in so many ways to have an organization that marries the two ends of this spectrum -- those groups that have a need but not the funds or the ability to purchase the equipment and supplies with the entities that need to get rid of equipment and supplies. Project V.E.T.S. saw the opportunity to make this happen and is making it happen. Bravo for Project V.E.T.S.!
I've worked closely with Project V.E.T.S. over the years and have been in awe of their reach for such a small non-profit. So many animals, all over the world, have been helped by this small group of dedicated and hard working people who want to make a difference. With passion and focus, they have achieved so much!
Project V.E.T.S. is a wonderful organization offering a valuable service. The people that work there are caring and passionate and I hope they get more recognition, and donations!, for the important work they are doing.
Since the animals can't ask for help or write a grant, it falls on Project V.E.T.S. to circulate the tools of the veterinarians to out of the way places where replaced equipment is needed and welcomed. Makes everyone look good. :~)
I was dumbfounded when I can across this group, only because I wondered why it hadn't been more widely publicized. It's mission is at the heart & soul of veterinary medicine- to help those who cannot help themselves.
I've worked at several clinics in my 13 yrs as a vet tech & have friends at several more. We all get items donated by local Dr offices & hospitals. With a combination of these items, our surplus of unused items & equipment collecting dust, already limited storage gets even smaller.
Project VETS is the perfect solution for both clinics like us with surplus of unneeded items taking up space & low income or volunteer groups without means to acquire the very items that may be piled in numerous veterinary storage closets collecting dust.
I cannot express enough how vital the work this group is doing to help us spread the supplies to the demand.
Kudos Project VETS and God Bless
It is wonderful to be able to find a new home for the materials that can no longer be used at our small animal hospital but that are very much still "usable"! Materials that are about to expire but that are certainly safe to continue to use. I love that Project VETS can find a new home for these items and that we are helping animals miles and miles from our own little hospital.
Project V.E.T.S is a small but mighty organization that is able to reach far beyond its home base in Colorado. As a result of the efforts of Candy, her board, and small staff, people and animals around the world have benefited and know that there are those who care enough to supply them with essential supplies and equipment. I am very proud to support Project V.E.T.S and will continue to do so.
Project V.E.T.S. is a unique and amazing non-profit. There is no other organization like it. By using sustainability, it is helping animals all over the world. The board has an amazing amount of passion and are highly skilled and organized.
I have volunteered with Project V.E.T.S. and am in awe of the wonderful supplies that are donated as well as the quality & quantity of supplies which go out to recipient organizations globally
Project V.E.T.S. is a wonderful organization and has been incredibly helpful to Greenwood Wildlife Rehabilitation Center. Time after time, they have donated much needed medical supplies and equipment, allowing us to provide a higher level of care to the 2,300 wildlife patients we serve each year. Their support and generosity have made a huge impact in saving the lives of the orphaned and injured wild mammals and birds on the Colorado Front Range.

It is a privilege to be a part of Project Vets and their mission. PV is a sustainable, effective model to keep useable medical equipment and supplies out of landfills and ship into the hands of the people globally who are on the front lines of animal rescue. From Mountain Gorillas who are snared, reducing populations that are already desperate, to dog and cat spay and neuters numbering in the tens of thousands, to ending abuse of working animals in third world countries - supplying veterinarians, clinics and rescues with tools, books, equipment, vaccinations and worming medication allows these brave, good people to do their work knowing PV is there to support them. Low overhead, passionate, animal-loving, devoted staff and board, goal-oriented and global reach - PV is a rare organization that does what it says: heals this planet one animal at a time.
Project Vets has been a long time generous supporter of medical donations to two organizations I volunteer with, Animal Balance and Soul Dog Rescue. The generous donations of supplies have assisted hundreds of animals on island nations around the world and on Native American Reservations in the Four Corners region receive free spay and neuter services and address medical concerns. Project Vets also helps to promote sustainability and the concept of reduce, reuse, and recycle by the distribution of valuable medical donations all over the world. I am honored to be a recipient of Project Vets medical donations and on behalf of myself, all the volunteers, and all the animals we have helped, THANK YOU!

Project VETS is a brilliant organization that fills a critical niche that no one else has recognized as a need for the animals and our planet. What better concept is there than accepting donations of medical supplies and redistributing them (for free) to those that need them most? It is recycling and redistribution at its very best. What one society does not want can absolutely be used to help animals in other societies or communities.
Animal Balance has worked with Candy and her fantastic team at Project VETS for many, many years now. They kindly provide our NGO will critical medical supplies that we take with us to other countries who are in desperate need. We are on a tight budget and so when we can receive syringes, IV lines and more from Project VETS, it allows us to use our funds for other essential medicines for the animals in places like the Dominican Republic, Cabo Verde Africa, Bahamas, Galapagos, Samoa and more. Project VETS allows our donor dollars to go further, which means we save more lives and reduce the cruelty and suffering of animals worldwide more efficiently.
All of us at Animal Balance from around the world congratulate Project VETS and thank them for the essential, critical role that they provide to organizations like ours. They are a joy to work with and we are delighted to be given this opportunity to tell everyone about their awesome work. Thank you Project VETS.

I learned about Project Vets through a friend and decided to attend a fundraiser they were putting on. I normally don't donate to charities but Project Vets is great! I feel like my money is going to help the animals of the world!!
Project VETS is a great, well organized group!! I have donated to them, attended fun fundraisers and work at a veterinary clinic that frequently makes donations to this group. I am an animal lover and this is a great way for me feel like I am helping animals all around the world. I will continue to support Project VETS!
We are an animal hospital in Colorado and send memorial donations to the group. They write kind letters to our memorialized pets and let them know that their legacy lives on. What a kind gesture!

I give to many charities around the world, and this is one of my favorites. Not only does Project V.E.T.S. have an immediate impact by providing veterinary supplies, but they run their non-profit efficiently and effectively. I love seeing that my dollars are being well spent.
Project VETS does an amazing job at filling a void in veterinary services around the world. With limited staffing, they have worked wonders through hard work and creative resourcefulness. I am proud to be a donor and happy to be a part of supporting the organization.
Project V.E.T.S. fills a much needed niche in animal related needs around the world. The work, time, and efforts of all involved are incredible and I know greatly appreciated by all the organizations that are helped.
Project VETS has provided much needed veterinary supplies for the vets working with Helping Hands for Hounds of Honduras. Their donations have made a difference for several abandoned, sick and injured pets who otherwise might have died. I am very grateful for their help. This is an amazing project helping needy animals and the vets who treat them around the world. Thank you, Project VETS.
This organization is fueled by a great desire to help our planet and the animals we share it with by collecting and recycling usable items for those working in the veterinary field all over the world. It has grown each year since it's inception and there is so much more to do! It is wonderful to be able to find items that one person may no longer need but someone else miles and miles away is so thankful to receive. It is an organization that truly fills needs on multiple levels.
I have had the opportunity and privilege to help organize and prepare the donated items to be shipped to veterinarians all over the world as well as the United States, enabling wild and domestic animals to regain a healthy existence. I have seen first hand the dedication of Dr. Candy Sayles to her growing organization, selflessly donating thousands of hours over the past 5 years with only one goal: to give sick and threatened animals a better chance at life by giving veterinarians the equipment they desperately need. Project V.E.T.S is not as "sexy" as some organizations who offer opportunities for hands-on work with animals. But its role is critical in enabling sanctuaries, vet clinics and rescue groups to provide this care to the animals. And it deserves to be recognized and rewarded for these efforts.
Now in our 5th year, Project V.E.T.S. continues to grow and reach more and more veterinarians and the animals they care for, around the world! I am still honored to be involved with this amazing group. Year over year we receive more donations of supplies, and make more shipments to organizations in need. As a result more animals live healthier lives. In addition to donated supplies, we are in need of cash to fund our daily operations (shipping costs, warehousing, database management, etc.)
Connecting donated supplies to veterinarians working around the world... it's working!!!

I chose to become involved with Project V.E.T.S. because of the simple, pure mission and passion behind this group. I have watched Dr. Candy Sayles Brad go from wondering what was next for her after selling her veterinary practice to envisioning, creating and growing this incredible non-profit. Now in its third year, Project V.E.T.S. has grown every year, collecting more and more veterinary and technical supplies, and getting those supplies to veterinarians working with non-profits around the world. It has been amazing to watch an all volunteer organization grow to healing animals in 40 countries around the world (including the U.S.).
Project VETS hands down is one of the most amazing organizations out there. What once started as a vision for Dr. Candy Sayles has now become a beneficial and successful nonprofit helping animals around the world. Medical equipment doesn't go bad but it does take up space in a landfill when just disposed of without a second thought. Candy and her group have found a way to recycle medical equipment that might be considered outdated here in the United States but is considered a luxury in other countries that will gladly use it. Putting the proper equipment and supplies in the capable hands of vets in other countries makes us realize that TOGETHER we can all do our part and make a difference. Thank you Candy and the entire Project VETS crew for making the difference in the lives of so many!
Project VETS is an effective and ethical organization. They take medical equipment headed for our landfills and instead ship these instruments to Vets all over the world. They choose to re-purpose and re-use equipment in countries that may not ordinarily have access to such technology. They have a great volunteer staff and a great board of directors. They are doing great things!
