Mission: Nmccs's mission is to lead and support public charter school quality, growth, & autonomy in new mexico. Nmccs's vision is to drive transformation in education to benefit the diverse needs of students, families, & new mexico communities.
Programs: Training and development services: the organization provides members and nonmembers with support services in the form of classes, webinars, regional training seminars, an annual conference, evaluation analysis, and professional development. The organization has approximately 75 members. Nmccs works at increasing student academic achievement by serving charter schools and advocating for them. Nmccs is an important source of technical support and professional development for charter school teachers, adminstrators, and governing council members. Approximately 160 people attended the 2017 annual conference where participants learned about leadership, policy, educational practices, governance, and more. Approximately 86 people attended thirteen regional seminars. During 2017 2 "lunch and learn" sessions were offered, these are a training and development service for members. Approximately 14 people attended that seminar.
