Mission: The discovery museum of sacramento is a dynamic, regional hub that engages and inspires people of all ages to explore the wonders, possibilities, and responsibilities of science.
Programs: Operation of the science and space center, which brings the excitement of scientific discovery to students, families and all members of the community. Each exhibit features interactive, hands-on activities and search-and-find guides based on state science standards. This includes educational programs for local school children such as the challenger learning center, an interactive space mission simulator consisting of a realistic mission control and spacecraft - all three mission scenarios simulate an entire nasa exploration mission from launch to achieving the mission objective.
