Mission: Portland actors conservatory provides comprehensive actor training for the novice to the professional taught by professional actors and directors in a creative and supprtive environment where artists discover the truth of the moment through the exploration of theory and technique and the art of the performance.
Programs: Acting classes: adult studio program and youth summer program. Approximately 385 adult students and 63 youth participants. Plays: conservatory season professionally staged and critically acclaimed events and performances. Season puts into process skills and tools learned in conservatory program to showcase talent. Residencies: a low-cost self-production program that serves emerging independent theatre artistsoutreach: conservatory had 2 summer workshop programs in which 74 students attended and provided workshops to local schools.
